Great to see Mr Signal Sounds there. Top bloke. Great to see some Brit modular guys talking about modular in a completely blokey way. Modular just makes folk smile because it isn’t intrinsically all about one manufacturer. I don’t think any other industry is so responsive to what the end user wants. If I had to try to be critical, perhaps within the scene we could do more to discuss techniques to produce interesting musical effects. It’s hard because modular often takes your breath away because it sounds so raw. There is a whole world of DAW control of modular (via DC coupled outputs etc) that doesn’t get talked about. The modular sweet spot is mixing it with complex digital to CV control.
If you really need a name for the ochd expander, i would say something with "relations", since (if i get it right) all those extra outputs are based on the relations/relationships between the lovely free-running LFO's.
