    I got my konig's from discount tire and they never put hubcentric spacers on. I ran the wheels for a whole summer last year with wobbling issues even after taking it back to them 2 times to have them looked at. They said it's just normal because it's low profile. It's a 18x9 running 235-40r18's. Of course this spring I realize that there were no hubcentric spacers when switching from my winter wheels. Now with spacers, it's perfection!

      Hubcentric rings, when you don't have them, can make a world of difference as far as vibration and comfort. Thanks for rolling with us!

    Thank you for the info should have all the rims been placed on the same way so when they rotate they all look the same direction? Your channel for a women is a lot of help I have told my son to subscribe also. Appreciate you

      No problem at all, we're always here to help - that's why we make these videos!
      In terms of installing them with them all facing the same direction, that would only last for a mile or two because it's regular for your wheels to turn at slightly different rates at times. The only way to make this happen would be weighted "leveling" center caps.

    I’m new to your channel can you help me with this question: I had my rims replaced to Lincoln wheels rims but they installed and when I park the name isn’t upright. Should I be able to see the name Lincoln upright on all the rims when my car is parked? If so how can I do that? Im a women so I know it sounds crazy. Thanks

    • @konigwheels
      @konigwheels  5 месяцев назад

      It's completely normal. Your wheels have center caps in the center of the wheel with the Lincoln logo on them. Those center caps are mounted to the wheel in a fixed position - so when your wheels rotate, the logo rotates with it. In some cases, people can install self-leveling weighted center caps.
      If you ever need any help about wheels, we make tons of videos like this on our channel.

    Just one question, do you jeep handbrake on when changing the wheels?

    • @konigwheels
      @konigwheels  Год назад

      I guess you could, although really what you need to ensure is that the wheels are chocked so the car doesn't roll. If you're jacking up the car, chock the wheels and you'll be good to go.

    I see so many people using a torque wrench wrong. You're supposed to go slow and stop tightening the moment it clicks, not continue for another 5-10+ degrees of rotation past the click like the gentleman in the video. This throws the torque spec out the window.

      @konigwheels  7 месяцев назад +1

      Just keep in mind that sometimes audio and video are not perfectly in sync. However, we totally agree with you.

    • @Maaaaaax-07
      @Maaaaaax-07 6 месяцев назад

      You realise that the torque specs is just a reference, right ? The actual torque specs could be, for example, "70ft/lbs" +/- 10ft/lbs. And guess what average torque wrench aren't that precise to begging with. So you're already off wether you want it or not. Going 5 deg over won't destroy your wheels and lug nut/bots. You're not even close to permanent deformation.
      On the other end, shops that just send it with their impacts are a problem.

      Hey Austin, check out the video about Hubrings on our channel. Also there are few other videos about hubrings we've done. If your wheel is not hubcentric, yes.

      @@konigwheels wow bruh. You make a video that mystifies this simple procedure even more for a novice. It's a simple explanation and you just say go watch another video? This video is not helpful and just raises more questions for people that don't what they're doing which is probly everyone watching.

    How To Install LIGHTWEIGHT Wheels that are easy to handle because they have SPOKES. Impress me, let's see you do a pickup truck tire.

  • @aussie8114

    Dealer rotated my wheels 2 days ago at the 12 month service and damaged 3 of the 4 wheels. About 7 impact dents on each wheel. $1,600 each wheel to replace so now let’s see what the outcome is. Bloody incompetent mechanic. You could blindfold me and tie one hand behind my back and I could still do a better job than them.
