One of the best... for his style he's the best but for just pure for the streets you got to look at Pac and big and I think Redman and Scarface eightball and MJG like these dudes are real mother f****** e 40 especially E-40 and there's just several others that absolutely murdered .. AZ who Nas kind of s*** on them, him and cormega. He absolutely could have made the firm explode feel that is one flaw in the way he treated AZ and cormega And prodigy at one point.. but that boy could go
@@jameserath4192 I don’t listen to hip hop for the streets. Im a huge bill fan, but he can’t be mentioned in the same breath as Nas and Big is the most overrated rapper ever. Pac I have as second best, but if you have him as #1 that’s.a good choice too, can’t go wrong with either one. Nas was on every az album up till aziatic. It’s not nas job to make firm explode. My son is 8 yrs old listening to Nas, I can't stop him but imagine as he gets older and REALLY gets it.... its still educational music as well. I learned a lot from his music from one artist to another. I'm not a music artist but music has always been essential to the soul.
People hated on "It was Written", but it was actually a better album than "Stilmatic". "It was Written" was like a series of movies. It was the soundtrack for some of our lifes, for those that came out of the Projects & was in the game. Not everyone could relate, but those of us that came from the Projects & had our own Crews felt that album.
@@cristiancristoiu8235 I don't think Nas likes being predictable. Preme said he has been waiting for him to come thru for years. I think he doesn't want to be locked down with that "old school " sound which is why he is reaching out to Kanye and the hit-boys. All the vets trying to figure out how to stay relevant in the current music climate. That's why I think Em switched his flow style ylup and collaboration with Joyner and them
That’s not him setting a trend. All battle rap fans know 30 is a clip. 3 rounds a piece...if you win all 3 rounds that’s called a 30 (3-0). That’s why they say “I’ve got 30 in the clip, let’s go”.
The Firm Album is one of my favorite albums ever. I bump it on a regular basis. It would be great if they could reunite for another project. 20 plus years later to hear them together now is crazy. Older, More Mature and their different opinions on life now that they're in their 40's

Thats how young I look and im 42
Im 89 look 1
I was thinking the same thing.
i'm 1hunna & look like an unborn child 👶🏾
@@thebotfather9508 same, but the opposite.
The best do ever do it. Crazy how humble he is for being the best. Salute to nas
One of the best... for his style he's the best but for just pure for the streets you got to look at Pac and big and I think Redman and Scarface eightball and MJG like these dudes are real mother f****** e 40 especially E-40 and there's just several others that absolutely murdered
.. AZ who Nas kind of s*** on them, him and cormega. He absolutely could have made the firm explode feel that is one flaw in the way he treated AZ and cormega
And prodigy at one point.. but that boy could go
@@jameserath4192 I don’t listen to hip hop for the streets. To me he’s just the best to ever do it, especially with garbage music out now, he shines even more.
You're right I agree. I feel AZ just needed a little bit of help and Nas being from Queens when he blew I feel he could have helped him out that's all I'm saying that's my opinion complete opinion there's no fact in it I just feel that way you know what I'm saying but congratulations to you for recognizing such beautiful music from queensbridge I love that gritty queensbridge New York sound it's my favorite always has been.. God bless..
@@rgrado3 to be honest I listen to it for the culture and the love of the music I hate all radio singles made to pop up on the radio I can't stand commercial singers and commercial rappers I like pure people who do it for the culture like I said some singles are right I'm not going to ditch it some commercial singles are really good actually..
“I don’t get the credit I deserve that’s why I hate doing interviews”
Nas Back When
classic track!!
Life Is Good
BEST SONG ON THE ALBUM... #INTROSPECTIVELY!!!!
This interview should go viral
Back When is my favorite song on Life Is Good Album
My son is 8 yrs old listening to Nas, I can't stop him but imagine as he gets older and REALLY gets it.... its still educational music as well. I learned a lot from his music from one artist to another. I'm not a music artist but music has always been essential to the soul.
People hated on "It was Written", but it was actually a better album than "Stilmatic". "It was Written" was like a series of movies. It was the soundtrack for some of our lifes, for those that came out of the Projects & was in the game. Not everyone could relate, but those of us that came from the Projects & had our own Crews felt that album.
Beautiful Album! One of the best albums ever made. Gems!
Still my favorite album any genre anytime, so when people critique him I see why he cares less
It was written is a classic.
Yup. My favorite in his entire catalog
IWW > Illmatic 😑
Firm Bizz was a classic 🔥🔥
The whole Firm album a classic 💯
A day need to be set aside to celebrate Nas cause he's an icon already a living legend.
My man looks like he recorded illmatic just yesterday. He aint aging. Man dont release albums, release a diet plan , damn :)
Lmao
Right whats the lifestyle plan
Lol
Dropping Illmatic gave him the fountain of youth
Straight facts 💯
12:36 Nas speaks about PAC. 💯✊🏾
Damn ! Thanks 🙏🏽 scrolled for days!
Thanks.

I highly appreciate this interview. Nas don't usually do interviews. This is Epic. Big Fan🙌🏾
Never clicked so fast in my entire youtube life.

FACTS!
Yo i think that was record time for me too 😂
Me too lol
This was a different era. An era of hip hop
That’ll never happen again.
So true # nostalgia #mychildhood
Didn't want this interview to end. Nas was so open for this. Shout out to the KING.
Come out of my throne I got this lock since 91 I am the truest..
I wish Nas and Amy Winehouse could've dropped an album, rest in peace Amy
It would have been an automatic Classic, cuz that 🍒 wine till hits to this day! I love that song , especially while driving somewhere nice😁
@@ballermanj1192 cherry wine is definetly a classic

Nas is in my top 3 greatest of all time that will never change

4 people that seem not to AGE at ALL:
1-Nasir 'Nas' Jones
2-Anthony 'AZ' Cruz
3- Angela 'Arms' Bassett
4-Pharrell 'Skateboard P' Williams
😎
Sorry AZ is that dude but he definitely aged
Fabolous
Marlon Wayans
Ice cube
@@antneyox9479 Cube aged. Seen him lately?
we still want a NAS & DJ PREMIER album collabo
That would be his best album since It Was Written!
We need to accept it is never going happen
@@spiritualliberal why ?
Nas and AZ!!!
That's why I think Em switched his flow style ylup and collaboration with Joyner and them
Nas at a good place, you never see him this animated in interviews.
Laura is probably the only one out of them 3 that's not hypocritical about Nas. s/o to her
Facts.
She def in love with Nas 😂
@@astonbrissett9747 I think so too lol
I think so too.
Lauryn Hill can really rap and very skilled at it
Nas on Hot 97! Not what I was expecting. This is lit 🔥
When he explained King’s disease 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
NAS “Da Goat”
Easily the reason why my childhood was introduced to great Hip Hop. Much respect - peace and love.
NAS is nothing short of LEGENDARY!!🙌🏾
Nas & Foxy 🥺🥺🥺🥺🔥🔥🔥🔥 ELITE

Nas is Favorite Mc Ever SALUTE
When I flow for the streets, who else could it be? N-A-S, Nas, Nas... Queensbridge, make everything right 😎
Love that track! 2nd Childhood
Nas called 30 years in hip hop a "30 clip".... Still setting trends...
Esco
Facts
cause he's dope asf and every single rapper take something from him G.O.A.T 🐐
@@garrisonyouth7328 no cap
That’s not him setting a trend. All battle rap fans know 30 is a clip. 3 rounds a piece...if you win all 3 rounds that’s called a 30 (3-0). That’s why they say “I’ve got 30 in the clip, let’s go”.
Nas looked and sounded really comfortable in this interview. Nice to see.
Can't wait til midnight! Lets go ESCO!!
Kelis can't destroy this album💪🏿💪🏿
Lol
Smh
It’s that meme of the wight lady standing by the window then suddenly starts thrashing the room tight af
@@HeathOverledger lmao I know what you're talking about.
This interview was waaaay better than Drink Champs- im shocked. This maybe the best interview i have seen Nas do.
The Firm Album is one of my favorite albums ever. I bump it on a regular basis. It would be great if they could reunite for another project. 20 plus years later to hear them together now is crazy. Older, More Mature and their different opinions on life now that they're in their 40's
When NaS says "I look around and I don't see NOBODY" and you know no one can or will say anything about it 😂😂😂😂
Real talk. When he smoked 50....none at shady/Aftermath wanted the smoke
