My goal was to buy a super nice vehicle by starting with absolutely nothing. If you have just a little free cash and a couple afternoons in the shop, you can achieve exactly this! Flipping cars and trading cars is honestly one of the most satisfying goals you can achieve. Try it for yourself! What's the best score you've been able to find?

Me and my dad were the ones that built that D150!!!! I was just scrolling through RUclips and your your thumbnail. My dad bought the truck as a daily, it was a factory 318 magnum. The motor just wasn’t quite enough for us, so we swapped in the 360. We also had a a pro charger we bought from marketplace. It was used on a Dodge Dakota if I remember correctly. Only main issues we had was that it threw belts all the time. And we went through 3 transmissions. Once was an issue from the transmission builder, once was the a cable popped off the transmission and we didn’t realize it (can’t remember what it was). And I cant remember the third time.
I love that this truck made it to a good home. I both loved that truck and hated it, I hated working on it but it so much fun the one time my dad actually let me drive it. And you didn’t mention this, FYI, the trucks name is Greg. Can’t remember why we named it Greg, but I’d be honored if y’all kept its name
That’s awesome what did you use for the harness and tuning? I didn’t know holley made a terminator x for the magnums
@skullcandyEFA, I can’t remember for sure, I think we just used the universal harness, and the terminator x does support the 46re. At least I think that’s what we ended up putting in that truck. Can’t remember exactly. I’ll ask my dad whenever he gets back

So what was it?
Buddy here with the Galaxie still running. Got the speedometer and fuel gauge working. I kept the wheels put new white letter tires on. Hopefully I’ll see ya at a show with the Galaxie
Ralphie said he will give you 900 for it
He drives a hard bargain. Deal.
Howdy, Mr. Dillon!
Tell Ralphie I pissed myself reading this comment as soon as I I clicked on the video
@@richgwozdz8580 that’s funny
Ralphie that's not a ranger😅
I kinda feel ya, at 4:45, Dylan. I've always thought of you as a Mopar guru, not a Ford guy. But I do respect and understand. Me? I love anything USA from our "Big Three": GM, Ford, and Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth. And yes, AMC, DeSoto, and Hudson.
I bought an Opel for $200 that hadn't run in 2 years. Put the plug wires in the right order and it fired right up. Traded it for four 49er tickets. Traded those for a non-running '72 Mustang then traded that for an Explorer truck that was worth about $8,000 at the time. Great truck that ran perfect.
Hustlin!!!
3:53 is as close as Dylan will come to cursing in a video. That was one giant fireball 😂😂
I'm reading your comment right as that part came on lol
Dylan: I did not see the Ford 4x4 video before, but after seeing the clip of the massive fireball, I'm definitely going to check it out (LOL)!!
Patience is the key to find killer deals. I paid 300 for a log king size bed with temper pedic mattress, never used, still had the clear plastic on it. It just wouldn't fit in his news house and had to sell that day cuz he sold the old house and had to be out by 4 o clock
Nice! Bitchin little pick up!
I’m with you on the little bit of work and you can have something idea. Trading up or fixing a vehicle yourself and driving as you go. That’s how we did it back in the day! ✊
Nice! I ran 3.73's in the diff of one of my Valiants, the "Banjo" driveline, TorqueFlite, 727 trans, of course. Drag/Drive/Grocery-Getter kinda setup. The Val was powered by a modded 318 Industrial, courtesy of Canada.
“I really bought it for the AC, but the procharger was just a nice little addition” 🤣🤣🤣
Good morning from Cape Cod 🦈 that was very informative, very good of you to explain how to go from a few dollars and a bunch of Wheeling and dealing to come out way on top. I'm sure your wife is proud to be driving her new Hot rod Dodge 👍 keep up the good work and the awesome content 👍✌️🇺🇲
Wow Dylan that’s a sleeper of a truck really like it and it’s nice!
I enjoy your content, especially all mopar videos, very much. I've been a fan of your channel for many years and always search for the latest content on your channel first. Never disappointed when I watch it.
We need more on this truck on your main channel.
It certainly will be its own build series when the time comes.

That was a great buy. A Procharger kit hovers around $6k. I know only because I've been currently researching which way to boost a build I'm contemplating.
GREAT VIDEO DYLAN!!!! CONGRADULATIONS ON YOUR NEW PROJECT!!!! I LOVE IT!!!! PLEASE KEEP US UPADTED ON YOUR UPGRADES!!!!
Nice work! Definitely traded up, I hope my wife doesn't see this and start trading me in. LOL
Excellent video Dylan :) and agree did super job on buys vechiles too!
Sounds like a power tour car!
I like the vehicle stories. I'm glad you made this channel.
Reminds me of a tv show on A/E called BARTER KINGS good show but short lived.
I’m not sure how I missed you had a second channel
I enjoyed this video because I’m trying to do something similar I have a 2009 Charger with a 5.7 ppv and I’m trying to trade up to an SUV
Three times you lost the back glass out of a vehicle and not once did you stop and think to roll the windows up on the next one. 😂😂😂 That's sounds like some shit I'd do. 😂
Looks like a nice truck I am jealous a little. And did you get a new truck Dodge 2500 or 3500 tell us about it.
That gold one was a 68… a rare 50th anniversary model 0:04
Great job wheeling and dealing
Hope to see the truck on your channel
What about all the title, registration, sales tax, insurance costs/ hassles, etc. for the average Joe who isn't a licensed reseller?
8:29 and you still tow cars with the windows down? 😅
I been seeing that truck in background..I LOVE that truck..i had a 85 dodge truck an foolishly sold it
My parents had a 1967 ford galaxy 500. 289. I think v8 blue
I know we don't count hourly rates, some of the work is enjoyable but some is definitely not. I had ten thousand dollars in a recent restoration and 1200 hours at 100 dollars an hour. Not cheap..
I love those trucks
awesome gift for the wife Dylan, that truck is bad a$$ !!
Now that was fun thanks 👍👍👍👍👍😊
Love the idea behind this but it's somewhat unrealistic if you don't have some land to store vehicles on.
It was only two at the most. If you have a backyard or a driveway you can make it work.
First gen content? I’m in
A good truck
Nice dodge truck
Get rid of those wheels. Please, please, please! Anything would look & be better. 😁👍
Awesome always cool stuff always thanks
Wait didn't you say you didnt want a truck in the beginning 🤔
Heck yeah brother
Great video
You got to love those old Dodge trucks I have a 1984 Dodge d100 four-wheel drive lockout hubs has a camper top on it that belonged to a good friend of mine every time that I would go to his house he had this thing sitting on the side of the driveway I'd stop and admire it I asked him a couple of times what would he take for the truck and he would never give me a price he would always change the subject then one more time I was at his place and you know I'm just going to staring at that truck and he looks at me he goes you really want that thing don't you and I said yes I do one more time man what do you want for it he looks at me and says okay today only friend price you can have it for 100 bucks and you don't have to pay me right now I thought he was messing with me buddy let me drive it home I paid him for it a couple weeks later all I had to do to the truck was adjust the carburetor put a new exhaust on it and runs like a beast I've had it now for probably I've had it now for probably 11 years it's not the prettiest thing but it gets the job done in the snow anytime I need to haul anything it's right there ready to take on anything I can throw at it there's even been a few times I've spent the night in bed of the truck with that camper shell and slept quite comfortably sometimes I think I should move on from this truck but I just don't think I can move on from it from a practical sense and besides I love that old truck
Pro touring truck shootout is coming up….
Someone paid 5500 for a bondo bucket small block 67 LTD? Geez.
Are you also budgeting the wife's speeding fines? Hehehe.
Maybe roll the windows up before you get on the highway? Hmmm. Logic.
Do you not drive down the road with your windows down?
That must be government math.
That's God's timing is what that is.
Anyone want to trade for a 99 Crown Vic?
Yeee Yeee
Old Money.
LOL 7k for junk?
