That was cool and everything, but will you be doing a more in-depth tutorial, with audio instructions? I’m really new to this whole tone capture thing. :)
I wonder if MOOER improved the TONE CAPTURE feature or is the same software as the MOOER LIVE ... They plan on releasing a mini pedal with the same software !! I saw a short clip of it at The NAMM 2019 MOOER BOOTH ... it's on You Tube :). Thanks Glen!
Hi Glen missed the setup bit in the GE300 for the send and return positions within the ge300 path. New to GE300 so this could be irrelevant if so sorry.
Hi Glenn, I love your videos and outstandingly bodacious axe playing. Solid Rock 4 Life! I just got one of these too, but having trouble understanding how to recall my captured amplifier into a new user preset. Unlike in the Cab block where you can pull up imported ir's, the Amp block only has stock amps to choose and I can not see my Captured amp? Any help would be totally awesome. Cheers.
Hi Phillip, Thank you so much. Yes the captured amp resides in the Tone Match block location. I don't think there is a way to apply it to another patch right now. Only the one that the Tone Capture procedure was done for.
Very impressive .I am considering buying one and getting Greg’s captured patches but I am wondering when you capture an amp are you capturing the amp alone or the amp+speaker+mic ? In other words once captured do you need to add in an impulse response or cab sim ?
Once you have captured a tone, how do you actually use it? You keep the amp block and the tone cap block on at the same time right? Which one do you use to adjust the EQ of the sound?
@@GlennDeLauneOfficial But the source amp has an EQ and the Tone capture block has an EQ too. Or is it preferable still to use an EQ block and keep the settings of those two blocks at 50 or so?
I'm trying to capture an overdrive pedal. Any idea why I'm not hearing the pedal when I select switch A for source? I'm hearing guitar only. Works with Target fine. I tried capturing it anyway and of course got no overdrive.
You have to place the "fx loop" (the two triangles) between the Mooer "DS/OD" and the "Tone Capture". The overdrive pedal is switched on via Send/Return of the FX Loop and only "DS/OD" and "Tone Capture" must be selected on. In DS/OD you must choose the pedal most identical to the one you want to capture.
Cool man.Can you do a Fender clean amp Tone Capture video?

Its basically a kemper/helix for 799
very interesting, how were the cables set up please?
What did you do with cab? Turned off on AX8 and use only cab in Mooer? Can you give more details?
That is incredible! Woah!

Yes it is more advanced then the GE200

You are capturing only the tone and character of the amp itself.
that's so damn close with the tone capture

You can use an EQ block for that if you want

Glenn, would you say the captured tone from the axe8 sounds better than the ge 300 stock be100 émulation ? Closer to the axe8?Thanks
I'd say the GE300 comes Close
