I always worked with amp capture and I think is a good way to use the GE300. I think the sound is very good. Soon I will record and post some video about this
Thank you, as I read in the manual you cannot replicate fx like delay or modulation, you can capture only overdrive and distortion pedals, and maybe boost pedals
The best description of the tone capture - thank you for this. I experimented with capturing amps from my HX Stomp and it works! My only question is, I can't seem to use my capture in any other preset. So, if I captured the amp for Bank 40A, for example, I can't use it on 40B even when I activate the Tone Capture block and recall my saved one. Is it just me or this is how it's supposed to work?
Thank you so much 😊 Sorry but I'm not sure to understand your question. To use the same preset (40A for example) in 40B I copy and paste the preset using PC Ge300 app and it works
@@NicoFerri haha for some reason that didn't even occur to me :D of course, it worked like a charm like you said. thanks so much for the quick response!
Thanks. I know it is a little older video. I have a Peavey Cab with Shefields in it and there are no settings on the Moorer that simulate it. If I match my amp head how do I get my Cab sound? Can I just capture the head unit and let my actual cab be the source by not choosing anything at all? Thanks. Hope I made sense.
Hi, if after the capture of your head unit you can't find your cab in the mooer simulations, you can capture the sound of your cab with ir cab mode. In the manual you can see how to do this using a microphone, a preamp (or external audio interface), but i never try this. I hope i have been helpful
I think it' s not possible because you have only one Tone Capture slot for preset, and you have to choose one of the 3 capture mode (amp or stomp or guitar)
@@NicoFerri I am trying to workout how to capture a plugin (Neural DSP) from the DAW to the Mooer. Examples I have seen, have unfortunately not worked thus far. If you fathom that out, please post :)P
@@chrisdaviesguitar I saw a tutorial about this but it's not clear and I think is not possible because the manual talk about to capture only amps, guitars and stomps
Super video for amp. Thank You!
How does it work with overdrive pedal?
Thank you so much, actually I don't know how it work with pedal, I know that it is possible, but I never tried this

The best video about tone capture with Mooer GE300
Steep Romaní Zamudio Thank you so much!!! 😊
Bravo! Bel video Nicola!
Grazie mille Luca! Aspetterò i tuoi prossimi video..

Thanks for doing this since Mooer didn't do this from the beginning!!! Could you please do a tutorial for the Cab ir Capture?
Ale Ingolfsson Thank you too!!! I'll try to do the IR tone capture and if it's work good I will post a video 👍🏻
Cool video, I have a question, is the Tone Capture able to replicate Delay / Modulation / Synth Pedals ?
Thank you, as I read in the manual you cannot replicate fx like delay or modulation, you can capture only overdrive and distortion pedals, and maybe boost pedals
I confirm overdrive, distortion and boost pedals

Are you able to save your guitar captures along with the amp captures into a preset?
I think it' s not possible because you have only one Tone Capture slot for preset, and you have to choose one of the 3 capture mode (amp or stomp or guitar)
Nicola Ferri Thanks! This is a really interesting product, and I bet future firmware updates will increase its capabilities
That's a feature I would also like and seems like Mooer missed the opportunity here. No brainer.
very well explained, thank you.
Thank you too

Ottimo

Can't you capture if amp doesn't have fx loop?
m.mooeraudio.com/companyfile/GE300-Downloads-145.html Hi, here' s the manual tell if you don 't have fx loop you can use a DI for capture

and what you play during the note capture is not important? what is it better to play in order to achieve a complete learnig? is it the same?
Is indifferent what you play, usually I play some open chords and then some single notes during the capture loading
@@NicoFerri and it just does the trik. tnx for the answer
