Reminds me of my daddy picking on the back porch. God I miss him.
Thank you for the good old Rockin Blues. When I Wake Up and crawl out of bed I'm playing the blues. I know some people don't like loud music but I do and I will never change. I only play what sounds good to me and this sounds good to.
Great sound❤!!
Gracias! Thanks MJH and all these musicians. Thanks you tube. Gran musica. Felicitaciones.
Une guitare une paire de main et une voix super !
This is a great album. I lost my copy, so here I am. Bruce Cockburn’s “Avalon Blues” kills me
❤
The best tribute album ever without the weight of mega stars dragging it down.
Yes my thoughts too. 😌
Heavyweight talent here paying their respects to a true giant. Thanks for posting!
Thanks for sharing. Always liked listening to Mississippi John Hurt. His style is so rhythmic and the vocals are clear…with that silken voice drawing one into his world.
Satisfied by John Hiat is exceptional and you can't find it anywhere. I have this as well. Great disc.
Have been listening to and enjoying Mississippi John Hurt since the 60's. He's timeless. The final track sounds exactly like Rick Fines, even if it is John Hiatt.
Bless Peter Case for this
Это то , что я очень люблю :) Спасибо :) Душа отдыхает .....
Impressive and right, go man go! Awestruck!
Great album! I found it today in a "braderie" for 1€... Happy I am! 😋

Listen to Taj Mahal’s version. Hurt was an inspiration for many.

@@emiller9426 not to my knowledge.
Yes, Doc and Merle were both admirers.
