Lugged Sole Add On for Period Shoes at Viking Leathercrafts

This is the process we use to add the lugged soles onto our period footwear. The pattern on the soles is more like a combat sole and we suggest this option to our customers that are involved in live combat. It also protects the bottoms of the shoes for a more longer lasting sole.

I recently received a pair of boots exactly like the ones in this video (Viking 3-toggle boots) . They are great boots - very comfortable and fit true-to-size.
