boostedKTM it's rechargeable via USB
bryan916 nice next time I'm out of town I'm totally picking to up one for the house and one for the shop
Then the ball joints would give up the ghost...there was a recall on those Daterda ball joints if Im not mistaken. Very small pathetic little things they are
Hey Brian. I have the same 4.7 and I think it’s seized, can I send you a video of it?
Hello
I'm trying to follow along with you, but having trouble understanding how you removed the tourque convertor. When i pulled my engine, mine was still attached. Can you show me the steps you took explain it in a step by step manner please.
My engine is a 4.7L V8 02 Dodge ram 1500 2WD.
You have to unbolt the torque converter from the flywheel. check out the video link start video at 29:20 ruclips.net/video/HILmqglvgD8/видео.html
@@Bryan916 thanks for the reply and support. I didnt get notified of your reply until i logged in.
I did manage to get it off the engine after fussing at it for a few hours! Lol.
THAT DONT WORK TO CUT ACROSS ROFFING METAL , GOOD FOR FLOT METAL ONLY
your running fans to stay cool, and I am running a torpedo heater. waaah
Man i was hot too lol.
Welcome to Pennsyltucky Brother!!!! lolz When was the last time you seen one of them dodges with so little rust?
TwiZ1975cj5
I can't even remember the last time I even saw one of those dodges. LOL
Most have been laid to rest. If that was here in that condition then it was owned by an old man and kept in the garage. LOL
No doubt about that...ball joints are junk too and would snap n destroy the inner fender, Honda Accord has a bigger ball joint
How do I remove my torque converter bolts if I can't turn the fly wheel cause my engine seized up
Try rotating the engine with a prybar at the flywheel teeth sometimes this works better then at the crank pully. If that does not work you'll have to pull the torque converter out still attached to the flywheel.
Hey Brian I have a 2004 dodge ram 4.7 and I have a p0138 along with a p0172 code I have replaced the o2 sensors, tested wire harness for volts, also cleaned the throttle body also have checked every possible place for vacuum leak, but to no avail the truck still idles rough and is misfiring. Also did check ohms on coils and they are all good along with plugs to. Any other direction would be appreciated cant drive truck due to rough idle and its just not running correctly. Thanks
Check for Exhaust leaks. Also make sure you replaced the Bank 1 sensor with a Bank 1 sensor and not a Bank 2 sensor Auto part store employees are notorious for doing stuff like that! You could also have a stuck open fuel injector.
Thank you for the extra direction will test this out tomorrow.
Hello Bryan I live in Sacramento and I have a 2003 Dodge Durango SLT with 4.7l engine. Are you able to give an estimate for a possible rebuild. Please advise!
Where my boi Bryan at?
El Lobo I'm right here in Sac town!
Where do you anchor to when pulling the engine
I know this video is old but i hope you see this comment. Im pulling a 4.7 out of a 2000 dodge durango with 4x4 and i have everything disconnected all bell housing bolts ground straps exhaust ect. But i cant get the motor and transmission to separate for the life of me. Ive got it up high enough off the motor mount brackets and tugged on it and jerked it back and forth and it wont budge. Im wondering if im missing something or if they just really stick together sometimes and im just beinf a wuss about it? I just dont want to damage anything. Would be great if somebody could let me know if i need to use a crowbar to break them loose or if theres another method im missing. Thanks in advance if anybody sees this.
Shoulda pulled intake .much easier bellhousing bolts...to remove..just saying tho...
You must not have watched the video all the way through
