- I headed over to Vancouver Island to meet up with @Casey250 and @EFRT for a weekend of wet trails and camping with a built Jeep Gladiator, and multiple built Wranglers and attempted a crazy river crossing!

The currents can wash out deeper channels on the bottom than you'd expect and then you're suddenly in too deep.

I love that you made a solid attempt to cross it though! That’s one of the reasons I prefer having a full size truck. The mass keeps you on track but that current would test any vehicle I reckon.

I have been fortunate enough to travel the world for the past 35 years. Yet I am still constantly amazed at the beauty earth gives out. There's no denying that you have an amazing skill to bring that beauty to us--even in rainy conditions! And your j-glad is just sick!!!
The adventure will still continue for him. But the rest of us that can't afford it is over before it even comes close to beginning. That's why I'm glad I found this channel a long time ago. You guys keep having an adventure and stay safe.

Glad you turned it around brother. A foot of water moving like that can take a vehicle with it. Yeah we're glad that the Trail Wrecker isn't swimming to the Pacific, but it could always be replaced. You on the other hand, may be a little harder to do without. Keep up the good work guys!
