      Jordan Nguyen. 95% enemy will kill driver first for grabbing the vip and cut off any escape route. The video just an training demo shows what to do if the driver is dead. In real life they are too slow and the driver will dead less than 1 min 30 seconds as the car crashed into other objects and the security personnels will be pin down by enemy snipers, gunner coming from the back and front.

    • @assu4lt
      @assu4lt 6 лет назад +25

      It's not practical to retrieve him because the main focus is to keep the VIP safe
      So, going for the driver (who could be dead or bleeding or wounded badly, hence disabled) puts everyone at risk, you have to go get him through his door since dragging him you could get stuck in the shifter or center console, or his feet at the pedals, and if you're there it's far easier to just toss him to a seat, grab the wheel and go
      Since there's a backup vehicle (but no assets, just the driver) you are only waiting for the new car to get to your position so you can go
      The moment they encounter hostile forces they began: answering fire, grabbing the VIP and keeping him covered as they determined the area was safe
      There will be a time to go back and get him, but not at the immediate moment

      In a real world situation, the driver is a high value target. Could the front passenger take over? Depends on the console and stuff getting in the way. Your question is a great one to ask as you work with your team: "what do we want to do if..." and then practice the answers to see if they work.

    If the driver is disabled, you remove the driver and drive away, if the vehicle is disabled you move the vip behind said vehicle (greatest amount of metal between assailant and target), regroup and exfil if possible. Car doors are not effective cover no matter what hollywood tells you.

    • @Warrior_Culture
      @Warrior_Culture 6 лет назад +2

      They never used car doors as cover. They got out and immediately put sights and fire down range. Just because the natural position after exiting a vehicle is BEHIND A DOOR doesn't mean they are expecting it to stop bullets.
      Additionally, even though it won't stop a high caliber round, any material between you and a shooter can reduce the velocity and penetrating traits of incoming rounds shape, making your own body armor, and even your bones, more effective at preventing deeper penetration. Those are facts.

    • @YM-zf8mt
      @YM-zf8mt 6 лет назад +1

      i love how you add "those are facts" at the end of your paragraph
      nanomage is right and no a car door won't slow a bullet enough so that your bones can "endure" it
      this video is fun and cool but if it was real everyone would be dead the moment they decided to exit the car if the targets really were at the range they were placed at (25m or so) in fact i'm ready to bet money that someone alone full auto'ing' the car at that distance would kill or at least wound everyone inside before anyone has the time to do something

      The driver was supposedly shot and disabled. It did not say that the driver was KIA in the video but they did say that the driver was KIA after the fact in the description (no doubt to save face). When I was a private contractor no one got left behind, but unfortunately not every team is like that. They either prioritized the life of the VIP over their fellow contractor (tough call to make and without condoning or condemning I understand) or they are shitty operators who don't even carry IFAKs. Either way, two things are certain: 1) UF Pro videos clearly aren't the most realistic 2) I would not want to operate with those guys unless my pay was tripled. I mean, how do you not carry IFAKs? What if your VIP is hit in the gunfight? Are you gonna take yourself out of the gunfight until help arrives via slapping your big dumb hand over the wound or take the few seconds to throw a life-saving tourniquet on and go back to shooting? Come on now. Any soldier will tell you that IFAKs are LIFE-SAVING EQUIPMENT. Get your shit together.

    Unless those doors are bullet proof, then I am moving to the the rear of the vehicle. Just my assessment but I feel both should of hopped out and one exchanged fire behind the door like so as the guard moved to the rear, then the VIP would exit to the rear as he moves behind the dude infront still firing, then have rear guard lay down fire for front guard to transition to the rear..
    But all this is just speculation,even this video is.. Its all in a matter how things go down and how you react in the moment.

      Maybe the idea is that you don't know if there are more attackers behind the vehicle, thus the car door at least provides a modicum of cover.

      Negative the best way is to get out of the car and quickly take them all out rather then moving to the back and giving the enemy time to kill the VIP. Also, remember it's your job to protect the VIP life not yours.

      There are dozens, all around the world. If you are in the states I recommend Academi, (formerly known as Blackwater) as they have highly advanced training facilities on both the East and West coasts as well as a wide variety of courses and world class instructors. However, full disclosure, the one on the East coast is way bigger and simply better... in my humble opinion.

      MAYH3M0NE Do they train civiluans?

    • @Warrior_Culture
      @Warrior_Culture 6 лет назад +1

      Yes there are. And no, you don't have to go anywhere near a military contractor. Most executive protection screenings require that the applicant have a certificate from an accredited course. You can google executive protection training programs and there are quite a few that offer training in many fields and scenarios. However, since the field pays quite a bit, the training courses for certs tend to range in price from 5k to 10k USD. So it's not something most people just do for kicks.
