The problem is that you can't buy these pods in some countries...(yes I live in one of those), and this saves me from ordering cafee over the internet...I can say that this method works perfectly. Thanks, from a greatfull cofee drinker
It is difficult to find the pods anywhere. They are expensive, too. I don't find the flavors particularly interesting either. I prefer to blend my own formulae. Your method certainly is simple enough although it doesn't lend itself to making a supply of pods ahead of time. I usually make at least 24 pods and store them in the refrigerator.
The best coffee comes from a Philips 'Café Duo' machine. Use no filter paper and use freshly ground beans. They are very cheap 2ndhand since so many people buy the noisy Senseo. I have two 'Café Duo' : one machine in reserve and thus I have two nets. I can make coffee twice without having to rinse the net immediately. I can really smell my brew while it is on its way.
I wet the pod after taking it out of the measuring cup. It fits better in the machine and compresses to ensure a good seal. BTW why is it so hard to find pods in retail outlets.
