With 1000+ hours under my belt, this advice is high quality.
Why on the thumbnail you say my video is boring. I don’t even make videos.
Well then that’s the problem
#notrelatable 😂😂😂
Well your comments are boring so

Bro hats off to you, this is my personal channel apart from my content channel, and this video is INSANELY underrated. Keep making these videos man, your doing an amazing job inspiring new and old editors alike.
What is your other channel name?
Yoo, thank you so much!! Im not the best editor, since i do art and coding way more,, so this actually helped a ton :D i also like the tone of your voice, and the fact that the videos not too slow nor too fast. Hats off to you!
Having your videos recommended was one of the few times RUclips did the right thing for me. Definitely, I'll be checking your new videos and I hope you keep doing them if possible
I've been waiting for this! I loved the previous one, and you didn't disappoint with the new release. You should have way more subscribers with the amount of value you're providing. Please make a course lol
The two last points are sooo crucial especially when you get into the flow state. Idk how many times I caught myself sitting down 5h without a real break and the worst part is, when you realize that, you get up and you become dizzy all of a sudden because your mind needs to comprehend reality first before being able to function normally again :D
Great video bro! It's so easy to miss things when your focus is spread so thin. Taking a break and returning may seem like a waste of time to some, but can really save you from uploading errors in your videos.
Thank you for sharing your journey. Also, I just saw your previous video and although I'm just a beginner it gave me some inspiration to continue my channel. Thank you!
Mahnnn! Your video is God sent. It has touched on very important things I need to hear as an editor trying to improve, not one just beginning to learn how to edit. I have already made you a mentor of mine and looking forward to learning more from you.
Beautiful mix of considering the experience of editing AND the mentality of creating videos the way people want to, thank you for mentioning the death of Burnout.
On top of your channel logo, you're just awesome
Great vid bro! We need more editors like you in the scene!
Another amazing upload from tricky prolix! I just love how you show your knowledge and share it with the world. It really shows me how experienced you are.
i've just started video editing 2 weeks ago, your content is DOPE! Thanks for adding value to the community.
im currently editing my last project for college in my media studies course, this video really helps my gears turning. im gonna listen to some podcasts now, great video!
Thank you so much for this incredibly helpful video! As a complete novice in editing, this is eye-opening. Really appreciate it!
Another banger of a video! As an editor myself I think this is great advice so hats off to you. The only part I only partially agree with is the courses bit. I've personally bought one single course and even though I could find 90% of this info on RUclips it saved me weeks/months looking for same information on YT (and it wasn't expensive either) so worth it in my book. Totally agree on the liars selling dreams though.
I saw the thumbnail and thought “well the video better be pretty well edited”.
All I gotta say is bravo 👏This video in and of itself taught me so much about making engaging content! Subbed.
This is great advice! Tbh you feel like one of the most authentic people who's putting out videos on editing. Love your content!

Holy shit dude, your process table was so helpful, i was really struggling to find some sort of an idea for it! Thank you so much!
This is a great advice! from all the Editing videos have watched on RUclips, this one has made me learn almost everything about video editing. Thanks
Thanks man, great to watch and have some tips I can actually use!
This video is really well done, the information is high quality. You speaking on things that I, as well as many editors that I know took years to fix through trial and error. I don't see many videos speaks on this topic so i'm glad you're shedding more lightono it
Also. I've been editing for years but only recently started editing RUclips videos for a client of mine. Prior to this i worked on personal projects and motion graphics. I think im gonna do the "send your videos to other people for review." I usually would just take a break but since I have to learn video editing from a RUclipsrr perspective I think this would be an extremely helpful tip
Some of the best advice i have ever seen. What's even more surprising is that you only have uploaded 2 videos so far and i already subscribed because of 1.
Wow...this was tremendous! Saved it to favorites so I can watch it again and also work my way through the videos you mentioned! Thank you for sharing your knowledge! Do you have a Discord for editors? I'd love to join to learn more and assist other editors as well!
i agree 100%, and i have a lot of issues vith my videos so it might be good to have likeminded individuals giving opinions on my videos..

This video was not only insanly helpful for me an aspiring editor, but really well made like how the fuck do you only have 8k subs and are making amazing videos like this. You just earned a sub.
i just started editing 2 weeks ago. man its crazy out there. i have a lot of ideas but i dont really understand the software very much. ill keep trying to get better. thanks for making the video
very well made! thanks for the advices!
Very helpful and so timely. Thanks!
Bro, this video is pure pure gold. Can't thank you enough for this content
Looking at where I was 3 years ago where I really only knew how to splice clips together, and put text and images on the screen to where I am now feels so weird in how much progress I've made. Yet, videos like this always let me know I have more to learn and can keep improving, definitely some great advice!
I don't understand how this channel has 6k subscribers, it deserves many more, here's a new one. This is really valuable. I congratulate you!🔝
Content you're providing is definitely worth a sub 😄
Yo bro u deserve more views on this
u just spitted all facts straight

Your story telling is second to none. Super easy video to watch and very captivating. Looking forward to what you dream up next!

Great video man!
Dude, incredible video. Thanks.
I like how smooth everything looks in this video❤ I need to chill out on my timelines sometimes
Freakin banger video dude. Kudos
Thank you so much for that information about PODCASTS for learning crucial information. I don’t know about anybody else, but I needed to hear that as I am in the process now reviving my RUclips channel and the reason why it’s reviving at all not because, I’ve paid for a course but that I put I took a class with professor RUclips and associate professor google and found out for myself
I love this video, I'll try to keep these rhings in mind!
im subscribed - amazing video, amazing explanation and amazing connection I feel with this video)
You deserver a subscribe man, Thanks for the Value!
newly into the editing space, thank you!
Can't wait for your next vids, thanks so much.
Fire video, great explanations
Brooooooo I’m so glad I find you thanks for the valuable information ❤
Amazing video!
Learning shortcuts was the biggest gamechanger for me
But there is still some room for improvement in the workflow, I take so long sometimes
One of the best channels I've come across. Try uploading more frequently, PLEASE!
Great video!! I agree, courses are bs. Btw, a video of some of the top podcasts that helped you and how would be cool!!
very helpful. I subscribed and look forward to learning more from you (course or no course).
This is the first video about editing that talks about burnouts. I have been so focused on watching countless tutorials, burying myself in the technical side of things, but neglected the philosophy behind the art. Perhaps I should start finding equilibrium. Your video is very inspirational, clear, and concise. You made my day.
Thank you so much, this is VALUE in its purest form
thanks! i'll binge watch the vids you recommended!
Wow you are underrated damn i was listening to you because i got you recommended i expected you had like 1m+ but only just under 6000 wow
Great video thank you I love how you said “the word course” and RUclips keeps sending me ads about editing courses 😂
i already know he will get famous soon keep up the good work love this videos
good stuff bro... keep it up 💪
Helped alot, tysm!!!
giving finzar vibes man your gonna go places!
This is great stuff - thanks.
amazing! thanks for the tips! need to start prioritizing shortcuts. also wanted to ask what music were you using in the very last segment? it was amazing
No need to say this video is helpful, you know that. But I think there is a thing which resonated with me the most. That is the idea of implementing new things gradually. There is no reason to try to control every aspect of the process if that comes to the cost of not producing and learning more. I also think it helps a lot if you have someone who's on the same plane as you, so you can learn together. That's something I'm looking for... someone starting RUclips or a hobby relating any type of content creation with similar vibe. BTW, super nice to see you reaching 100k views with this video. Keep it going!
Omg I just started on this journey and YOU SIR ARE MY AMAZING MENTOR thank you soo much for your content
Thank you for the information
Dude I edit for a huge channel and this the most underrated YT video I've ever seen, so much helpful stuff.
It's really good advice. Thank you
subbed you and pressed the bell icon , my man dont ever dissapoint me with your content 💪🏿💪🏿
well done, thank you!
I loved how he sums up the tips in the end, that's smart!
Nice tips dude!
You're absolutely right about shortcuts. Have you tried out excalibur?
Hey, this is a cool video. I am trying to incorporate the stuff that has been said into my videos and whatnot. Seeing the progression is insane for you and it motivates me to try and do better. I've only been editing for a couple of years ON and OFF so the basics are there but the advanced stuff is still to come. I only use Da Vinci Resolve (Free Version). I am trying to do better lol but just seeing everyone else's experiences is cool and helps to know that no one starts out amazing.
bro your last video was super entertaining! Can you talk more about pacing and story telling please!
Thanks man! :) Good video!
brooo ur editing is crazy!!
I love your editing style, wish I could edit like this
