    For detail areas, I love to glue down sand paper to various popcicle sticks. I can cut the ends to fit what ever shape I need to to get into the finer lines.

    hi, from a spray painter, id suggest hitting the primer with a 'guide' coat preferably made from the same type of paint that you intend to use in the base coat etc, this will give you an idea of high and low spots that need addressing, another tip, if your doing a rub try the Createx brand of paint and dap or rub these with a rag, being a water based paint it takes to all paints and allows the 1k or 2k top coats, great for weathering and im using the createx black with another project im doing at the moment.

      Like I couldn’t even imagine getting a helmet at your quality in a day. Id spend a month minimum on like the hand piece you displayed.

    Saying a clear coat isn't recommended doesn't sound like a lie. They probably just assume the average customer isn't going to test 10 different clear coats to find one that works. Not recommended does not mean it's impossible.

    Id be more interested in how you cut off the supports and the nitty gritty of that level of stuff.

    • @nifco1290
      @nifco1290 2 года назад

      I say this selfishly cause I just did a print where I’m having a lot of issues getting supports off. I’d love to know what tools you use, how you keep things sharp or if there is a moment when it’s cheaper to just buy a new set of snips etc
