- Permits have been discovered that hint at the possibility of a large scale project going on at the front of the park. With the recent rapid expansion from SeaWorld Entertainment, could we be seeing yet another roller coaster added to their line up? The current rumors hint at the possibility of a B&M Wing Coaster!

3:54 - Thorpe Park were actually wanting the 4D design for Swarm - but B&M said it would have been too expensive to develop, and nobody would have purchased it.

It would be very interesting if both Kings Dominion and SeaWorld Orlando added Wing Coasters in 2021.

@@ArrowThrills - My money's on a Mack Xtreme Spinning Coaster or RMC T-Rex replacing Vortex. Cedar Fair has been careful to avoid giving CP and KI the same coaster models. The extra staffing requirements for B&M flyers make them harder to justify these days, sadly.
If Cedar Fair were to get a B&M flyer, they'd prob give it to CP. Pretty sure SWO's Manta was the last opened in the US, back in 2009.

I think a theme around the hammerhead shark would fit Wing coaster trains really well. But because Mako already has a shark theme ,Penguins make more sense.
Luca 2512 with Empire of the Penguin in this park already, I personally am not anticipating a penguin themed. You bring up a good point about the sharks though.
They put a penguin theme on Emperor in San Diego, which makes a lot more sense, since Penguins dive into the water. Like a Dive Coaster. Some other type of seabird would be a great theme tho.
What about a pelican or seagull theme?

Tinsote I want SWSA to get a B&M Wing as well, it’s definitely possible they could at some point, but first, let’s enjoy Texas Stingray in the meantime!
Technically Islands of Adventure had 2 B&M inverts in the same park, since both sides were two different rides, while having elements that crossed each other at the same time. I consider them 2 different rides though, since the layouts and ride experience for both were so different.

Yes, they need to spread the wealth and send some to San Antonio because of Fiesta Texas and it's rides are much older, they can't compete with Fiesta Texas w/ a old hyper coaster, a rethemed batman clone, and a simple but enjoyable launch coaster.

I love how Seaworld Ent is showing love to all 5 of their major parks. So much happening in the last few years reminds me of Iger bringing so much new stuff to their parks in the last few years.

Although I think a new entrance would be awesome, I think I would prefer if Seaworld kept their current one. The architecture gives a sort of beachside/surfertown feel to it if that makes any sense. I like that personally. That’s just my thoughts though. If they do remake the entrance, maybe they could try and keep that aesthetic?
I think another perfect park to have a wing coaster would be at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. And the place I think it should go in would be behind Verbolten where Drachen Fire used to be.
They're currently working on a much larger coaster for that plot of land.

Honestly this park needs more family friendly coasters. The big 3 coasters barely have wait times whereas the rest of the rides (except wild arctic) always have long wait times.
totally agree. I think Ice Breaker should've had one more inversion, cause it's not screaming "family friendly" but a more middle ground. They really should get something in orlando like san antonio's "wave breaker" coaster. I think it'd draw in that middle area and they really should get a new ride or two, maybe one big and one mild.
I think a B&M wing coaster fits SWO's lineup much better than the rumored wing coaster fo KD

The issue with the launched wing coaster is a launch costs significantly more than a chain lift. As much I enjoy thunderbird more than other wings, I don’t see a different in gp decision making regarding a launch vs traditional wing coaster

Yesssssssss. Michigan transplant here in Florida since 2009, cedar point is my home park. ..went back up in 17 to ride Gate keeper. Loved it. Sea world is my favorite place on earth with cedar point right behind it. I hope this happens.

I am surprised that SWO goes all in for coasters. When I visited late 2018 the coasters had no line, only Manta had one. Mostly because the operations are slow, but also it is a great coaster for everyone. I hope their strategy works and they will get more guests!

Empire of the Penguin isn't leaving. It's what I predicted years ago, but it's not what I currently believe.
Heard. They currently use most of the area you pointed out for season events. But I could see them trying to make it a year round area with the coaster over existing paths. Also, Atlantis is not long for this earth. Recently they had it closed down but it every time they’ve done something to it in the past it has been taking away and not adding to it. With infinity falls now I don’t see the reason to keep two water rides either.
@@Alkaline7y I was so upset last time I went on Atlantis. I hadn't been on it in several years and wasn't prepared for the dress-down. What was the point of removing the story of the ride? Maintenance? Also, we got stuck at the first lift. I think it should remain a water ride, but something new.
I think the reason why they would do this is because Universal is adding a launch coaster in 2021, so that would draw people there instead of to ice breaker, so this just makes sense.
I don't think this is the best choice for the park, since 2 of the 3 current B&Ms already focus on inversions, but I'm sure this will still make a great addition for this park.
Seeing all these back to back coasters makes me so annoyed about thorpe getting the last in 2012 lmao

Considering Wild Eagle is by far the most popular coaster at Dollywood I'd say a wing would be a great choice. Even for only having 2 trains a good crew will push people through at an amazing rate.
I personally find it weird that they would theme a wing coaster to Penguins, especially when the only major dark ride in the park is Penguin themed. Granted, it isn't easy to name a wing coaster, given SeaWorld's theming limits.
I think Tsunami would be a great name for it. Especially if it's launched.

I saw that 5 year plan vid yesterday so I thought it was funny to see this in my subscription box.
I'm curious if they reconfigure the entrance to open up to the lake, allowing you to either choose left or right when you enter....Also, I wonder if they'll reuse the Emperor name that they trademarked for San Diego
Jake Coonfare Remember that they renamed SWSD’s dive coaster to Emperor because they didn’t want it to have the same name as Mako at SWO. The same would apply here- they would go with a unique name.

I feel like it will be a ride similar to hang time but more intense Because if you think about it there is no gurstlauer coaster in Florida so I think putting it in Seaworld will bring a whole different attraction to the state of Florida

I've ridden every American B&M wing coaster. While not the most intense rides, I enjoy them all. We rode Thunderbird 9or 10 straight times after dark near closing. That was one of the most fun rides I have had.
The 5 year plan videos are how I found this channel. Have you thought about doing updated versions?
If this plan does work out, I could see it being called hammerhead, just by the design of the of the wing coaster. Not only that, but it would fit because they have "Mako" which is another type of shark.

The only reason that me and my dad didn’t go to sea world was because they did not have enough rides. Now, we might have a reason to visit the park.
Was this really Taylor? Are you sure your not from the future? Spot on Taylor. I agree with what you said. Heck it doesn't have to be a B&M. I could see a Mack rides, dare I say an Intamin but we know what happened with Hagrid at Universal Orlando Resort so that would be stupid. But I also think a B&M wing coaster would be great as this would indeed bring the last of B&M's type to Central Florida (does B&M even make stand-ups anymore?). . SeaWorld is one of my homeparks so I am exited to fine out for sure.

I think an rmc raptor would be really cool at seaworld Orlando. They could theme is to some sort of eel and it wouldn't take up too much space, which will become an issue at the park if they keep adding coasters as well as being another big thrill coaster even more so than a wing

Yeah, that won't work at SWO or any of the theme parks in FL. Perhaps the T-Rex whenever that comes about.
look, the penguin concept sounds good but... they already have a penguin dark ride so i dont think they are gonna do 2 things related ti penguins because people will think it gets repetitive, but other than that i like the way your thinking about this!
