All these people complaining don't understand that this is worship, this is god, forget what the books and prophets say, this connection where the human soul elevates to something divine is what it's all about. Beautiful, raw, magnificent.
“Düne ilişkin ne varsa dünde kaldı cancağzım, bugün yeni şeyler söylemek lâzım” der Celaleddin-i Rumi.
Tabi ki Anlayana :/
Siz kendi kafaniza Göre ist Mi yapiorsunuz
Derin ve estetik, çok etkilendim. Büyüleyici.
Tabii ki, analyalayanlar için hikmetler var
He started neat, clean and in a very sane way, thoroughout his journey, he became mad, limitless and lost his mind which is the ultimatum of his way.
Insane, free, wild
Ride on human
Ride on.
Bu gösteriye verilen olumsuz tepki ve linç konusunda ülkem adına utanç duyuyorum. Özür dileriz Ziya.
Sufism 😍 Proud to be born to a Sufi family.
Sorry to say it doesn't matter
What matters the most is our deeds.
Can you suggest me a book to read? I really eant to knoe bout sufism

SO sad
There is a concept in Buddhism he is like riding on a wheel of samsara , suffering (dukha) and letting go of cravings ( tanha) and attachment ,detaching from material world and reaching Nirvana. Also i think making rounds can increase DMT in the brain which usually causes awakenings
interesting contribution, thanks for sharing!
So... there’s nothing Islamic about this?
@@bgirlsweetmuser no… that’s just a spiritual parallel
@@k03dz0n3 ahh interesting. Thank you. Any reliable source that you can recommend where I can know more about Sufism?
@@bgirlsweetmuser sorry i think i misinterpreted your comment... sufism and this practice is a part of islam, but the buddhist conception is similar albeit different (non-islamic)
I realize this is a modern version of Sufism, but I am in an awe of a human practice dedicated to the longing to be closer to God almighty. Much respect and love.
Why can’t you appreciate art without bringing religion into this?
@Ganda Bacha same same
@@srejonb2544 it's a religious practice
Actually the whirling dervish dances have been a thing since the 13th century so ...
@srejonb2544 probably because this is how sufi Muslims pray. You were literally watching this man pray and you didn't even know it.
Omg it's so beautiful. It tell us story about how ego being stripped, until nothing left, the dead of Ego in progress. So deep, so sufism the music is awesome really fall in love in first sight (hear).

incredible.
I think I'm going to become a Sufi
Or more accurately a mystical dancer
Nowadays-unfortunately-Sufi "dance" (in fact, it is NOT a form of dance) is equals to belly dance. Feel free to choose either or both since there is no difference between these two anymore. It's a shame!
Прелестно.только обьясните кто нибуть как правильно правая рука сверху или левая в начале ,у всех по разному.Или все равно?
Espetacular.

It’s going off track to style this performance as Sufi. Pull it back in, brother.

is not talking about the dancer-whoever he is, we don't care-but the meaning of "whirling" in Sufi philosophy.
You, the dancer, and everybody else need to understand that what Sufis do is NOT considered dance.
If you guys know the Sufi philosophy, you would understand the whole phenomenon.
@@aestheticman2662 As a Sufi myself, 1) Does the misunderstanding negate this performance? Genuinely curious. 2) I suppose I understand the frustration, but having an expectation that everybody needs to understand the whole "phenomenon" as you say, negates the sheer...infinitude... of it. We are all One. It's not my place to judge.
Why can’t you appreciate art without bringing religion into this?
She went there.
This is no dervish. The dance is more about himself than it is about god.
dervish yes , but what is this? goster is? is this for tourists? not a realistic view of the real purpose of the dervish sufi,
Hello. I had a masterclass with this man, you're right, he's not a Sufi dancer, he's a contemporary dancer and uses the dervish principe to create. He has no mystical claim. The work with him was very interesting !! He doesn't dance for tourists, neither in religious places but for people interested by contempory dance.

I’m pretty sure these dances are in praise and amazement of Almighty God. Taking his shirt off and dancing the way he does brings a lot of attention to himself and his physical attributes. May God guide him.
Couldn’t agree more. He took something so pure, so intimate, so precious like this type of direct connection with God and turned it into this commercialized, politicized BS!!!! All for money!
That judgement comes from you. Not from him.
Peace out!
@lovelock 👏👏👏
Isn’t this unique to Turkey? I could be wrong about that though.
True islam
This is Persian Sufism culture not “true Islam”
@@LaNa-sz2gb this is not persian culture. Its written in Musnad by ibn hanbal, Tirmidhi(?) etc. that the sahabas whirled when they were happy
@@EmircanH This is Persian mysticism, go and educate yourself before you talk and stop stealing other peoples culture. It existed long before Islam and your ''Musnad by ibn hanbal, Tirmidhi'' and ''sahabas''. It started from the mystical Zoroastrian traditions of the Persian Empire and today also synonyms into Sufism bc of the Islamization of Perisa. It belongs to the Persian culture according to scholarly and history.
@@LaNa-sz2gb can you say one source, where it says that zoroastrians did this? You can educate me
@@EmircanH Lmao It's not my fault you are uneducated. It's not my responsible to educate you, i'm neither your teacher or your parents. You are free to educate yourself. Embarrassing
