As someone who already simraces, it's probably a lot more difficult for you to get into roblox racing (specifically league racing) because it's kinda filled its niche of being a step below that. It achieves that thrill of racing competitively while maintaining the ease of being very accessible to just about anyone, as well as being in the middle ground of being easy to learn but hard to master, making skill play a part as well. In my experience of league racing on roblox, a lot of my peers and competitors are around my age (14-18), with a lot of people either moving on with their lives as college begins, or moving on to actual sim racing games. P.S. NTS 23 is meant to simulate the results of NASCAR races. The owner runs a league called the RASER Sim Series which allows users to create their own custom blocks to use against each other in simulated races. It's not meant to be very interactive, but it's kinda fun. It's unfortunately in an indefinite hiatus due to a roblox update which broke the tracks.
welcome to the roblox racing world . So, I'm in this ro-racing universe since 2017 and I think it's fun, because it's not full-sim (also cuz roblox can't do something fully realistic). Most of the leagues and games usually take for a sim-arcade perspective, other leagues and games take for a full-arcade experience. The first game that you joined it's in the """sim""" perspective since it simulates a race, it's one of the oldest ways of ro-racing, since ~2008 i guess, the little blocks are the cars, but there are some games that took this to another level as Racer Manager, with actual cars instead of blocks, you could manage your strategy in it. Ro-Racing is still alive because It's fun, also the community tries to always improve and make Ro-Racing better. The main problem for Ro-Racing is the vision lag, when you started the race in Formula Apex, you "had" a better start, but actually, everyone had the same start as you, but the vision lag makes it to look like you had a better start. Most of the leagues/games that use "Tank Chassis" (it's the roblox default chassis to build a car and it moves kinda like a tank since you can hold A and it's going to left and probably, spin like tornado. But there are modified tank chassis to make it more "realistic"), they use an Anti-Vision Lag script, which it adds a small delay, so you can have collisions, but this only viable for Oval Racing (you may find Nascar and Indycar leagues using that). In Project Trackday and other many projects, they use A-Chassis, you can build it as an arcade car, sim-arcade or even "full-sim", since A-Chassis gives many options to build the tune of the car, so you can set the gearing stuff, engine stuff like horsepower, idle rpm, and even, parking brake bias (that's funny). A good thing about the A-Chassis is because it updates every year, so more crazy stuff can come soon. One of the most recent additions was a proper tyre temperature script in the A-Chassis. And also, they added an option to when the vehicle goes on grass, they get less grip and some bumps to slow down the car, which it's necessary since it's not every league that change the friction (grip) settings of the surface, so there are many leagues that you go on grass or gravel, it won't do anything, and to set those friction settings properly, it may be a quite difficult task to do, with a lot of changes due to a lot of feedback. Well, I don't want to make a long short story about Ro-Racing, but I think it's nice introduction about this crazy world. Is Ro-Racing = Sim-Racing? Definitely, no. But It's fun and I think that fun motivates us to race. About 6-7 years ago, we still had to race with collisions and it was horrible for clean racing due to ping and vision lag. After some time, someone created the anti-collision script which it's fundamentally necessary for every A-Chassis project. After some time, someone created an actual aerodynamics script, making downforce, drag, slipstream to actually exist. Ro-Racing is all about the fun, but also, the tech that has been developed to improve it. sorry for the long text, but I think it's enough to introduce just a bit about it, you can always search for Roblox Racing or Ro-Racing and you'll find it.
Good news is that there's another game called Ion Apex Racing, in which it uses their own A-Chassis 7. It has working collisions, no v-lag, and quite a few features. It's supposed to be released to the public in a few months. (the chassis that is, so others can use the chassis. Ion Apex Racing is already out.)
@@OliverDvnnIt’s even deeper when you see how many leagues there are (that actually have a lot of members!) The community is so great, personally the Tank Chassis Collisions sector of Ro-Racing is the best as, despite being less realistic and having a slight input delay, it is a lot easier to modify with things like slipstream, tire wear, corner cuts etc.

sim racing in roblox has never been up to par for the simple reason of roblox not being made for sim racing. Visual lag causes the cars to appear in different places and that makes it impossible to run collisions in advanced chassis. fortunately the community is trying to come up with solutions but untill then that's what's going to hold the scene down

The only bad thing abt joining a ro racing league is if u wreck 1 person the whole league is against u it’s just stupid and I’ve been doing ro racing for 2-3 years now
Just real quick. They’re not “NASCARs” they’re stock cars. Also that game is a “sim” for who could win on that track. it’s Waaaaaayyy easier to driver on controller, there are games with damage such as formula apex you played but you have to hit the wall hard fast. A couple games with good-ish Damage is Just Daytona and Pummu Dega. While it does use the tank chassis the crashes are quite realistic.
I get why kids like roblox so much, reminds me of gmod, and similar platform style stuff, skyrim is a good example as well, but obviously there's not really ways to get cars in skyrim let alone race against others but u get the point. Just that gmod, uses mods and the mods are free, other games do have paid mods tho, but not many, assetto corsa probably has the most paid mods I've seen before
unironically after seeing this video (before i didnt like sim racing as like i liked open racing games like the crew motorfest 5, fh5, etc...) sim racing looks dope, which game should i buy? f1 24 or forza motorsport *if u have a better game suggestion i'd like to see it*
First off, if you want to play an f1 game, f1 24 is an expensive downgrade from f1 23, so just get 23. Also, the game you want to play depends entirely on what you’re looking for in sim racing. Do you want a hyper-realistic experience? Everyone has their own opinion on what is most realistic, but I would start with rfactor 2, assetto corsa, or assetto corsa competizione. Do you want to just have fun while playing a game that has realistic elements? Forza Motorsport, f1 23, and gran turismo will do the trick. If you want the best online competitive racing, you really can’t beat iracing. If you don’t have the budget however, gran turismo or forza Motorsport will suffice. Before you hop into online though, it is crucial you learn the basics of race craft in offline racing first. Also, if you hope to have sufficient control over your car and speed, it is almost a necessity to acquire a force feedback wheel, and preferably a sim rig to mount your equipment to. When it comes to the wheel and pedals, in this day and age direct drive wheels are extremely cheap compared to what they were. The fannatec ready to race bundle is not much more expensive than a new Logitech gear driven wheel. However, if you still need to save those few extra bucks and not go for a direct drive, do not go for Logitech. I have owned both a Logitech g923, and a thrust master t300. The t300 outclasses the Logitech for pretty much a pocket change difference in price. When it comes to rigs, I rightly recommend against wheel stands, and portable sim rigs like the gt-lite will work if you are smaller. However, if your a bit in the larger size in height and/or weight, I would recommend picking up a budget cockpit from get omega. You could theoretically get into this stuff with just a controller, but from my experience it is almost impossible. I played on controller for my first three or so months, and I barely made any progress. The f1 games and rfactor 2 have controller-based assists however, which make it easier to control the car with a controller. So if you are stuck on controller, it would probabaly be best to stick with those games. Forza Motorsport does not have these assists, but the simplicity of the games physics make it playable on controller.
@@OliverDvnn damn thats alot of words, but i think im gonna go with assetto corsa competizone, it seems good and btw i have a g29, 3 pedals and a mount rig, but i dont care for the price of games aslong as its good

NASCAR Ro-racer here and for me there’s quite a few games you missed, for example the lightning fast racing family of games which have pretty good physical, tracks, and strategy to it, along with that there’s also Rostock and Backstretch Battles but are filled with idiots and are more simcade, and with NASCAR 23 the sim it uses blocks to represent cars racing around and functions like a offline sim league.
You should try Midnight Racing Tokyo, it’s basically a sim racing JDM game, and the customization so so in-depth that it’s almost insane how the game is not more popular than it is now

The damage system work in race mode and vip server in Project apex and to change the Camera i think its C you can see the game in youtube there is alot of youtuber for the project apex And to find F1 games just do F1 and search and like Rally or FE and yes
Imma say this community games vs league games are quite different overall if you was to actually dive into the tuning and building side of Roblox racing you will find out its assetto corsa/project cars levels of tuning available with the goal of some people to just make Roblox a free assetto corsa
You can try midnight racing tokyo too, but I advise meeting someone with tier 4 cars and making them let you try them (I could too), because they are currently the only cars with the new version of A-chassis in the game. It's far more realistic compared to project trackday, it's on or beyond forza level.

the big majority in the ro-racing community hate these type of games , who don't put effort into their games or leagues . i suggest you look into some ro-racing youtubers like ZaksGamingLab , RoArthur , Gforce and way more that will explain more about it .
I mean, you need alot of codings to have realistic traction in roblox racing, so not alot of racing games have travtion 👍
You need to try midnight racing Tokyo and Roblox rally racing
@@OliverDvnn damn thats alot of words, but i think im gonna go with assetto corsa competizone, it seems good and btw i have a g29, 3 pedals and a mount rig, but i dont care for the price of games aslong as its good
@@yRobloxianoBR awesome! Yea, sorry for the long response. Something like that is hard to sum up quickly. I’m not a huge fan of how acc feels, but that is a rare opinion, and I still find it fun anyway. G29 isn’t the fanciest on the market, but I have one and it certainly holds up. Good luck!
@@OliverDvnn thanks, i dont want to spend 3k on a moza steering wheel even though it seems sick but ay you gotta start somewhere right
Great video, it's always nice to see an outsiders opinion
Yo fexalan
Game needs more cars
Formula apex best!
Roblox has some decent racing games but there arent many.
hi zak lol i see you in every comment section of these types of videos
Just Business ;)
@@ZaksGamingLab haha lol
project trackday is actually so awesome
prodigy drift is also a good drift game (sequel to redline drifting)
Roblox racing is a deep rabbit hole
Project track day is one of the best racing games out there, the other developers have made called midnight racing Tokyo
That's the difference between using Keyboard and mobile with tilt steering in Formula Apex
You should have tried ion apex racing. They have collisions between cars that work fine
Try the Group 5 cars (the porsche 917 the ferrari 50) in Trackday. They are the hardest to control in the game.
bros keyboard died 💀💀a wireless keyboard is hilarious ngl
The first game is a game when you watch nascar cubes race around real tracks
NASCAR Ro-racer here and for me there’s quite a few games you missed, for example the lightning fast racing family of games which have pretty good physical, tracks, and strategy to it, along with that there’s also Rostock and Backstretch Battles but are filled with idiots and are more simcade, and with NASCAR 23 the sim it uses blocks to represent cars racing around and functions like a offline sim league.
all games on roblox are simcade
backstretch battles is just arcade
If you play project trackday, please enable simulation steering in settings 😭 its so much better of an experience
I played this as a meme and genuinely had a good time
You should try Midnight Racing Tokyo, it’s basically a sim racing JDM game, and the customization so so in-depth that it’s almost insane how the game is not more popular than it is now
not a sim
but good game
@@baconheadhair6938 true
@@baconheadhair6938 even more true
You should play Backstretch Battles, it simulates (Insert Big City with a lot of traffic name here) traffic very well.
Try a game called Nascar Game, is very recent but the jugability is the best on a public nascar game on roblox
Roblox is for kids yes, but there are a lot of games that are targeted to more that just kids. So if a community is in Roblox, it will not be about kids 100% of the time.
the algorithm has blessed you with this one
The damage system work in race mode and vip server in Project apex and to change the Camera i think its C you can see the game in youtube there is alot of youtuber for the project apex
And to find F1 games just do F1 and search and like Rally or FE and yes
Imma say this community games vs league games are quite different overall if you was to actually dive into the tuning and building side of Roblox racing you will find out its assetto corsa/project cars levels of tuning available with the goal of some people to just make Roblox a free assetto corsa
You can try midnight racing tokyo too, but I advise meeting someone with tier 4 cars and making them let you try them (I could too), because they are currently the only cars with the new version of A-chassis in the game. It's far more realistic compared to project trackday, it's on or beyond forza level.
lol beyond forza is crazy anyway project track day is made by devgem
you should try C.R.U like fr fr its so good
If you're interested in entering the ro-racing community im willing to help you and explain anything u need, im experienced in our world, i had racing teams and i've been both been a WDC and WCC champion in multiple leagues.
U should try apex racing theres a training mode that u can play with endurances cars lmph cars and gte and motorcycles theres even nurburging
you gotta try some nascar roblox games next like "New NASCAR Game", "Nascar Game", and "Pummu Talladega"
Better handling and physics than NFS lol
wait till he finds midnight racing tokyo
Tyres in formula apex don’t wear that fast.Soft tyres are the best and you can finish and without pitting
ferrari capsizing got me dead
You should try midnight racing: tokyo its a street racing/togue simcade, its made by the same devs that made project trackday. ( however, there is some grinding involved.)
try this again with a controller bc i'm pretty sure most of these games support controller
for god sakes the sim racing game was called ion apex racing
Have you tried Midnight Racing Tokyo? MRT? New car just added with quests
“My keyboard is out of battery” WIRED FTW!!!!! Imagine having to utter that sentence!!! “The cable does not look good… aesthetically speaking having no cable should look better because it’s minimalist!!” BOOOOOOO LIKE YOURE STARING DOWN EVERY 3 SECONDS ?!
Roblox is a game for all ages depends on the type of game you play. Because roblox is a platform
idk if you are into rally car games but theres a really good one in roblox
Seeing your videos and average this video did amazing you should probably do a second and 3rd and leave it as that.
Why are people still stuck Whit the idea only Kids play roblox
Because it's a game for kids? The most popular games are rp games and simulator games.
the front page is made up of brainrot and you have to actively search for the games that are worth playing
@@MrMythosisgoneIt’s a game for everyone. Not directly made for kids. But, like you said, there are a lot of games created that are directed towards a younger audience. But the same goes for games that are made for an older audience, hence roblox coming out with the age ratings on games now.
Dude roblox has some dark sht@@MrMythosisgone
Underrated youtuber ur goated bro
you could press R to use mouse steering
the best sim racing is mid night racing: tokyo
Wow actually good video. I thought this video was made by a channel with at least 50k subs or more😅😅
Super good video! Try playing the mobile formula 1 racing game: “Ala Mobile GP” next please!
Controller is the best way to play it
if you like NFS give "Drive World" and "Driving Simulator" a try
there are many great racing games on roblox but dont have many players because kids dont play them
try midnight racing tokyo it's so cool
you chose convenience over reliability and performance and look at where it lead you. In the wall, far from the victory at reach...
POV: You can’t afford gran turismo
NEVER use the hards in formula apex NEVER they have the worst grip so just use the softs
Project Trackday prob one of the best
Try midnight racing tokyo
