AMS2 has great graphics and FFB and soon to be overhauled Tirephysics. It may not be a die-hard SIM. But it's a SIM, a really good one that runs like a charm and has decent PC requirements for the broad masses of people who love SIM racing.
@@robertmerry-u8m I have only read about it. maybe I should give it a try =) something similar exists for flight sim 2020 and I had fun with it, soooo...
AMS2 is a game I like. There is a lot of improvement in each update since 1.4 but the physical section is very slow. I just think that if this game had the physics of rf2 it would have a lot more potential
Same opinion here. I think they’ll at least partially sort out their physics problems, but we’ll just have to wait and see. With raceroom I really enjoy it but updates to the core physics and engine are pretty scarce nowadays.
Wanders in from AMS2 fanboy world with confusion etched on his face........Nice video, love the comentary, AMS2 is a work in progress and continues to improve, mod scene is getting stronger with cars AND tracks available ;) I race in vr and have a medium/low end rig and AMS2 runs fantastic, I do play RF2 and I Racing AC,ACC,race room, ect ect but VR is my thing so AMS2 gets most time devoted to it. you have a new sub :)
AMS2 is a really good simulator. The graphics is really good the VR compactly is really smooth. They should only add more cars and tracks in the future.
It could always be more but so far I like that they have cars and tracks that are more on the quirky side. E.g. Passat Classic, Südschleife and the recent Betonschleife.
@@jochenkraus7016AC and iRacing and rFactor are proper racing sims. Being a racer myself I can practice some tracks and at the same time I feel that I’m driving a car. ACC feels a bit more off than the other sims. AMS2 and all the other games are for fun.
@Robin_S78 I'm asking because I got a T300 and AMS2 (also AC) a few weeks ago, had an old FWD car a long time ago and the understeering of the Passat Classic felt familiar :-D
Still a lot work to do to dominate others sims. Even iracing coming with their career mode at some point so AMS2 really to need to capitalize in some way soon or will just be the after thought for most sim racers.
This has become my modern day Grand Prix 2. I recently started playing it in VR and all I can say is "wow".
100% agree.

carrer mode? really? that would be sick!! I'm not much of an online guy, so I would welcome that
Have you downloaded racing life? Not an actual in game career but definitely an awesome experience

It really could and ehat about raceroom! Dangit lol
I just wish automobilista didn't feel so floaty.

Looking forward to the future of AMS2, the IMSA partnership and planned multiplayer improvements could unlock this games true potential!

They did what Slightly Mad Studios failed to.
Well said, couldn't agree more. Although Project Cars 2 is massively improved with recent fan made FFB and physics tweaks.
But the servers are down and you can't use ghosts and beat other ppl records in PC2 anymore =((( Automobista 2 is the rescue!
reiza gave its best, but despite that, this engine is too buggy with too approximate physics...
Bravo, great analisis!,😃👍
This game ROCKS!
Gonna be hard to overcome Iracing's dominance in the Racing Simulator market
it depends on how much you want to spend...I-racing keeps you paying to be able to play the content you already bought
what makes the madness engine have so much potential? and what’s stopping devs from using it? Just curious

a sim that is far from realistic
@Robin_S78 What programs are realistic in yout opinion?

Im a big fan of AMS2 but the physics just arent there. its a fun single player simcade and there is nothing wrong with that.
Love the game sadly it fried my psu
And how do you know what kind of potential the engine has?
A fun game but the physics and car handling is way off. You can’t call this game a sim. 😂
