We don't know why they stopped service. Maybe they had a financial setback like an illness or job loss. You never know what is going on in someone's life.
@@darlened7948I agree and when something like this takes place with elderly homeowners it’s time to check in on them to see if they need any help. They may have thought they could handle it, but that is a huge undertaking and without the right equipment they would never have been able to do it. I turned 80 in June, and in my head I make plans to do lots of things, like going to Home Goods or TJ, or anyone of several things I used to do, but when it gets down to it, I change my plans and just stay home. I don't think you can blame yourself for their fine violation. Even if they were on your schedule for the past 45 weeks and you missed them that didn't happen in that amount of time that's been overgrown for a long time if they took you off a service as last year that's a hell of a lot of growth in one year
That was a HUGE job but you and the crew knocked it out like it was nothing at all. I'm one of those people that hate to trim back anything, I've since come to my senses. I'm very careful with ivy, because it can stick like Crazy Glue to tree trunks. I couldn't believe how it grew to the window screen. Mine never went up the side of my house because I heard it was very bad for the bricks, never knew it grew into screens, wow. Anyway, on to the next challenge, you guys did great on this property !!
When I moved into my current home, the front bushes were so tall you couldn’t see out of the window. It’s a condo with an HOA. Finally took matters into my own hands and clipped it back myself. Also had to trim it just to clear the walkway. I love what you guys did. It’s beautiful.

I'm curious how cities even have the right to violate private property as not even the police have the right to enter private property unless called by owner or witness to current crime seems like a cash grabbing scam to me as theywork for the taxpayers we don't work for them.
USA is one of few countries where this is possible. Even in Sweden, where cities have huge power, what's in a person's yard is none of their business. If you run a junk yard, it's another thing but vegetation is not possible to enforce. Not even if you have your garden full of Japanese Knotweed or any other plants not on the EU list of completely banned plants. And that list is short.
@@-XtraCredit- You are talking about things that require permits for additions for a home and dogs that could potentially bite someone or get in a fight with another dog basically public safety issues kind of an apple vs. orange debate. your lawn doesn't bite, and unless invading a sidewalk that is city claimed property how does it become your problem, government overreach in my opinion.
