In today’ video we clean up a VACANT HOUSE that has MULTIPLE CITY VIOLATIONS. When we searched for the property owners information we stumbled across the fines and leans against this home and learned it has OVER $700,000.00 worth of tines, penalties and Interest against It. In my opinion this is ridiculous so my new goal it to try and find these types of OVERGROWN CITY VIOLATION PROPERTIES and clean them up before the owners get fines. If you find out the owner is elderly or ill, the neighbors should have pitched in & helped. Dividing up up the work on a volunteer basis is what neighbors used to do. It is part of what made made a neighborhood a neighborhood. So sad we don’t know each other anymore. Nice job.
It really is sad. Times have changed.
Last Christmas my husband and I both had Covid. Without even asking for help, our various neighbors with snowblowers took care of our snow removal for about a month (we were fortunate in not needing hospitalization). With the requirement of snow being cleared within 24 hours, there was no way our respiratory systems would have been able to handle the cold winter temperatures. I’m so very thankful to be in a neighborhood that looks out for each other.
Not everyone has compassion towards others elderly and disabled people.

A couple of things I don’t understand here. # 1 is why is anyone giving you a thumbs down 👎. You’re doing a fantastic job and that’s extremely hard work. Evidently they’ve never done lawn work. 😡# 2…… how can anyone let their property get to looking like that ?? I can understand if they’re old old. Otherwise… take care of your home and property. Good work. Starting with edging from the street, it looked more sorted right away. As you worked, the scale of the property came back. Thought the trimmer a viable mowing solution and you still did an extra cut with your mower. The seed trees badly needed to be removed. Nice you took the time to do so.

This is so nice! I grew up with five brothers and I was always the one who wanted to do the yard work. I still enjoy it very much but live in an apartment now, so I kinda supervise you... lol 👍

Wow looks awesome! I am not sure why people do not keep up with their lawn even if they are not going to live in the house. It keeps vandals away if they think someone is living there.
I agree.
Sometimes I think they are elderly, with no family, and were taken to hospital and never able to return home. So property is left abandoned. I worry about that happening to me, but for now I have a neighbor who is taking care of my yard for what I can afford. Wish I could pay him what he’s worth, but I don’t have that kind of money.

Good job! The efficiency of a three man crew makes quick work of the clean-ups. The fact that there was a concrete parking area leads to a question on the landing for the front steps. Could there be a concrete pad, covered by sod, tying steps at wall to street? Continued success!

My mom lives in a small town and a man had a yard that was just like this. After numerous warnings and citations the city cleaned it up. He sued the city and won. I will never understand it. His yard now looks just like this one and now has many stray cats living there, and producing more kitties. He puts tins of cat food, a whole ham and other stuff out but never cleans it up. Do not understand people at. I hope this never happens to you. You do all of this out of the kindness of your heart💕💕
P.S. you are amazing with that weed wacker. I would have went through about 20 spools of string. May be you should do a video on how to use it properly.

Yes, and how nice of the City to keep putting leans on a house probably owned by someone really in need. Horrific, that they can just take your property. When they negotiate to sell the property, will they be thankful for your work? No good deed goes unpunished, but the neighbors have to be really grateful. Keep up the good work!!
