@@kingyeetus5901 Well, given that the only reason gen 1-5 were so hard, was because the developers were TERRIBLE at judging EXP gain, meaning you had to win insanely underleveled or do pretty much mandatory grinding at certain points, i think the DP remakes will be a lot easier... Gen 1-5 was never about you winning a fair fight! It was always about you being the underdog in every fight, and you were only really ever on par with the regular trainers and never the gym leaders or elite four...
And don't forget Fairies are a thing to counter that Garchomp!

I think that the Gen 5 Music was the best of all. Gen 5 is, in my opinion, the best Pokemon Game. Great Story, Great Music (good Gameplay, I think). Or maybe it's just because it was my first real Pokemon Gen that I played.
I played through most gens that were released before gen 5 at the time and I still have to agree with you. While I absolutely love gen 4 as well, Unova for me takes the crown by miles. Im a sucker for good musical pieces in games and the fifth generation had a really unique take on their themes that stood out for me in all sort of genres - May it be my all-time favourite nostalgic Route 10 theme, the chill & almost hypnotising Virbank City theme or the aggressive Elite 4 battle theme that always hypes me up - And I also agree with you on the other areas like story, gameplay, etc. Generation 5 was truly a masterpiece and probably will always remain my favourite game of all time in general, not just within the Pokemon franchise.

For the music, Gen 4 wins for me (with Johto as a close second), but for everything else Gen 5 takes the cake.
gen 3 music outclasses everything, gameplay wise i like gen 4 better but 5 was cool

Gen 1 and 2 have always been my favorite games when it came to sound tracts (especially R&B champion and G&S mount silver showdown), but S&S's gym battle is so hype inducing I feel like I could throw out a actual pokeball with a rampaging Gyrados and wreck stuff all over the back 20 acres here with a smile. Of course, nostalgia may have something to do with it, I've been here since the beginning with my old cinder block gameboy lol.
The last theme on here I have to say is the best theme on this entire list, thanks for bringing me back the nostalgia :)

We all know guzma is the king in music for pokemon
Story time. I just got my long forgotten DS from my family storage unit after it being in there for 8 years...I put White 2 in and the last save was Jan. 2014. I never finished the game. First time playing it too was back then! I am currently finishing up White 2 now. I left off right before gym 8 and defeating Team Plasma. To summarize my battle with Ghetsis 34:59 , I will never underestimate a Seismitoad again lol. I had zero grass moves and 4 pokemon weak to ground on my team apparently. Also his theme was kinda dope hearing it for the first time.
Currently training for the elite four. This is a long time coming. I started college in 2014, and haven't played Pokemon since sword and shield that I got for my switch. It's cool to hear that White 2 and Black 2 are popular, and I get to experience their Elite 4 for the first time in 2022. Just like old times, I'm not looking up their teams or levels to prepare. Just going in with what I have and hoping for the best: Jolteon - Samurott - Lucario - Krookodile - Arcanine - Haxorus.
Gen 5 has some great Pokemon games. I brush off my DS from time to time and pop in games that I haven't finished yet or haven't beaten in a long time and it brings me back!

Diantha's theme is SO underrated
The alola region is for me the only gen where the elite four theme as well as the champion theme slaps real hard (In my defense I only have played since gen 4). But almost every song in this playlist slaps hard. Only wish you put Cyrus from USUM and colress from B2W2 in it. That shit goes hard

platinum battle frontier is a theme I've been hearing from a lot of pokemon challenge videos as the tuber runs through a monstage of pokemon music. I figured it had to be gen 4 more than 5 and it sounded like platinum more than hgss. nailed it

The sinnoh battle frontier brain theme is by far my favorite theme of all time. I can’t believe they took it away completely in the remakes. It made me soooooo mad.

Great compilation, I would suggest the Galarian Legendary birds theme and the Legendary max raid theme from Sword and Shield for the next one, those are pretty hype

BW and B2W2 will forever have the best themes, and the only ones that come close to those games are the Cynthia theme and the Ultra Necrozma theme.
