I remember my childhood best friend's mom Kristy bought me Pokemon Emerald for my birthday. I still remember how elated I was to this day (I'm 30 now) and appreciated her so much. She was fighting a terrible cancer and unfortunately lost. But despite this, she always made her kids a priority and took care of what she needed to. She was so kind and giving, always thinking of others. Rest in peace Kristy. You are a beautiful soul. My mom and I still talk about you.
I remember back when my big brother was still at home. We did not have GBA, GBC, or anything like that but instead, a 128MB-RAM computer. He downloaded the GBA emulator and bought a CD in which they had already copied GBA games (including Pokemon). Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire was the first gen he played. Because we only had one computer and I'm still too little, I remember that I always sat by and watched him finish the game multiple times - to the point that these songs have engraved deeply into my mind. He had to live far from home 4 years later, and it remains the same after all these years. He got married last week. He has always been so pure and innocent. The moment he and his wife stepped on the wedding podium, these songs popped up in my mind and I really wanted to cry. I hope he can remain the same despite the pressure of reality.
I'm 28, married with one kid and just listening to the first 25 minutes of this takes me back to my childhood when i had no resposabilities or a f*cking job. Im almost crying now. Pokemon was my childhood and my savior. This makes me rethink my life choices and overwhelmes me with nostalgia.

I feel everything you said so keenly. Back when I was a kid I could finish one play through of Ruby and immediately start the next, it was just the best.
I will forever be a Pokemon Sapphire kid at heart. It truly opened my eyes to the incredible world of video games and I haven't been able to put them down since. Ive mostly grown out of my love for Pokemon and spend more time playing Rocket League, but I still dream about someday going back and getting a GameBoy and a Sapphire cartridge and losing myself in the game for a day or two.

I had Emerald as far back as I can remember. The mystery of the game was unreal, every single legendary was so good. It was so notable how Gen 4 and everything around that time had a very space, 'finale' vibe (Halo 3, Mario Galaxy, etc) so the process of maturing had such a bittersweet feeling to it. Played pokemon with all my childhood friends.
This game was one of many Pokémon games I played when I was 8 to 10 years old. I had a lot of friends back then, my family was still intact, and not divided or broken. I was innocent and had a strong desire to live. When I listen to the music, I feel like tears want to come out, but they can't. I become small and distant, longing to return. My heart breaks at the thought that it is impossible to go back to that time ever again.
Not to that time perhaps, but believe that you can create a new pattern of immense light in your life, and pay attention to the sign of your request being led to you. Enter the new age of light in your life and enjoy. It not easy at the start, and it will become progressively easier with time, and one day it's wonderful.

This was really the peak pokemon era. Gen 3/4 and perhaps to a lesser extent gen 5 were when the series hit its stride. The gameplay was finally refined, the graphics looked fantastic, the music had been good before but took it even further, monster designs were still fresh and exciting, and Game Freak had not resigned themselves to printing cash.
Oceanic Museum may be just a remix of the S.S. Anne but it's made in such a way that just being there you're gaining knowledge and inner peace instead of just... you know... boat.

Pallet town always makes me feel such nostalgia that I start to tear up. I just become 8 again with my very first game boy and my very first pokémon game.
Thank you for making me feel stone old... good old days... good recollections of my childhood 🥲😭 I remember owning pokemon emerald for almost a year and I did not play any other game. Because my family was super poor back then and didn't have the money for games. I had my gameboy and Pokemon. And felt happiness🥺
I hope today's children, one day, can enjoy today games vibes and fellings when they'll grow up. Just how we are doing now. Thanks for uploading that!
Some of these songs are the background music of my soul
I'm drunk af listening to this bring me joy i'm a sleep to this thank you !
I never really focused on the music while playing but these are all such absolute bangers. No wonder the franchise is as successful as it is.
Everybody has a specific generation they can resonate with due to age, and 3rd generation is mine. Being greeted with the littleroot theme as the first track hit me like a truck, and now, I'm in tears. Thank you
After the original, Gen 3 was my favourite as kid. I played so much Ruby and Sapphire.. The nostalgia is real with this music.
This reminds me of my grandfather… thank you
9:54 the best trumpet in gaming history!
hiting me with the littleroot town theme at the start.. emerald was my first pokemon game so nostalgia is hitting me hard.
I remember back in 2005 i was 11 years old and my mom bought me Pokemon Emerald and i played the heck out of that game. Im 28 now and im tearing up a bit listening to this because life was easy and simple back then. I think i might go buy a used gameboy advance sp and pokemon emerald game and start playing it again just so i can somewhat feel like a kid again.
“Dewford Town“ really changes up the mood💕
When I hear the rhythm, I just can't help tearing up. oh the old precious memories 🥲🥲
This is the most nostalgia I’ve ever felt
Literally playing this music to relax and try to remember the simpler times. I'm too busy to play any games now, so music is my main escape
I find it so amazing that I know every melody just hearing the first three seconds... and I haven´t played pokemon for 10 years
I love it so much
Bro I opened this and knew it was going to open with Littleroot. Can't grow into a banger mix without starting from the roots.
The ending of FR/LG makes me so happy, it takes me back right to my childhood
This playlist goated
DPP has some of the most relaxing themes in the whole Pokémon saga. Surprised Eterna forest theme was not featured in this video.
Little root made me cry... I still remember recommending my friend to play pokemon game and how we always used to play the game while listening the littleroot
Pokemon ruby/sapphire-/emerald is the best Pokemon generation. I will always feel nostalgic listening to this...I remember my brother had sapphire & emerald while I had ruby and we used to play together for hours. I miss my childhood so much
OG Pokémon games are legendary ❤️
Nostalgia…
Childhood memories 🥲
I'm listening to this while costumizing my tote bag and I can say I'm happy how it turned out
Gonna crack the competitive exam with this by my side
im crying while listening to this. i miss the day when i come home from school and play this game.
I’m not crying, you’re crying 😢
Canalave city never cease to give me chill vibes
This was really the peak pokemon era. Gen 3/4 and perhaps to a lesser extent gen 5 were when the series hit its stride. The gameplay was finally refined, the graphics looked fantastic, the music had been good before but took it even further, monster designs were still fresh and exciting, and Game Freak had not resigned themselves to printing cash.
Littleroot Town feel so nostalgic, when i hear it i fell im gonna cry
got me through studying for my college finals. Thanks 😊
This music puts a big smile on my heart
Oceanic Museum may be just a remix of the S.S. Anne but it's made in such a way that just being there you're gaining knowledge and inner peace instead of just... you know... boat.
How amazing it is to play pkmn while having amazing background themes. just fantastic
First encounter with pokemon was in highschool. (I lived in somekind of edge of the world, until highschool)... Friends let me play for the first time. I was awestruck by the openworld adventures it gave me. When I had my first phone, I immediately downloaded Pokémon Emerald. My first completed game. Oh how time flies.
Pokemon is such a thing that it is a series that people of all ages love.
To make a soundtrack like this on 8bit. Gotta give it to the music producers of these games. Enriched our childhood!
I put this music on for my niece to fall asleep to and it is so beautiful how she sleeps 🌞
The DP ending theme is one of the greatest songs to ever come out of this franchise
Ojalá volver a ese 2005!! Que felicidad siendo un niño!! Mucho ánimo :D
It was so nice that time could turn back…
I cried listening this again for the first time since I was 8yrs old, especially with the Littleroot Town

As an adult in the real world, I miss my pokemons sooo much
@@FabioJinx Hey just hear me out. If there was actually pòkemons in Real life. What would be your house pet?
@@balihanglimboo4001 Valid question. I can't choose between a Ditto - really useful- and a Flygon to enjoy a good flight and speed. And you ?
@@FabioJinxid choose a silvally, i like it's design, or eternatus for m a s s d e s t r u c t i o n
sapphire was my first, was such an honor to have experienced it in its time. there was so much to explore, when new pokemon still looked like pokemon
