I've been brushing my American Cocker Spaniel with a pin brush. We rescued him at the age of approximately 6-8 months old, he was abused prior to being rescued. While he completely trusts me and tolerates brushing, he can become very cranky, especially in his sensitive zones (his rear-end, toes and inside thighs). Thanks to your education, I think the pin brush pulls too much, so I've ordered the Chris Christensen wooden pin brush and will go from there with his product line. Thank you!

Really enjoying your brush videos! Corgi people like to use Mason Pearson bristle brushes. I have one but not sure what it’s best used for.

What brand is the turquoise pin brush.

Yah most cheap pin brush has a rounded tip to each pin and I am sure that tip will catch and pull dog fur. Dog will feel more pain. Chris Christensen's Pin brush can last about 10 years. I just wish they bring back the coloured ones. It is also very difficult for Singapore customers to find them to deliver to Singapore. Please help.

Hello, I have a couple of questions. I have been thinking about getting a higher quality pin brush, but I don't know what pin size/length or brush version would suit my dogs the best! there are so many brands of pin brush and pin lengths, I'm just a little overwhelmed for my needs.
I have an Australian Shepherd, Pembroke Welsh Corgis and will soon have a Miniature American Shepherd, so all double coated breeds here!
Oh, and I noticed you didn't have a video on undercoat rakes. Any suggestions for my breeds there? Is that type of brush a good one to have?

Could I use the wooden pin brush to deshedde an older Labrador who is sensitive about being groomed? The only things she lets me use are a SleekEZ, Zoomgroom and a stiff bristled brush to brush off dust a loose fur.

Thank you for this great video. I was wondering which one of the ChrisChristensen slicker brushes would be better for a sheltie? I have the G brush and I think it works well, but after watching your video, I am not not sure if the K would be better for her coat?

Hi Dana, if you haven't already check out the video about slicker brushes as well: ruclips.net/video/wIBJd4185Bc/видео.html. We typically do recommend the Big G for Shelties and the Big K for more densely coated double-coated breeds like an Alaskan Malamute or a Siberian Husky.
