We all remember, After the victory of 2015 wttc in shuzhou, ML won all the tournaments he attended till 2016 Olympic, with the 2016 Korean open being the only exception, where he narrowly lost to xu xin in the final. Ma Long's backhand has really improved over the years. Not quite on ZJK's level but he is there and not to mention he has a monster forehand and I dare say it is the best in the world till date.
Uchiha Madara well, on this match, his BH was superior to FDZ's BH who is not shabby. Actually, it seems ma long is now peaking instead of regressing. Always a treat to eyes to watch this two battle against each other.Ma long's backhand has become stronger.He is not forcing his forehand and playing a lot of backhand rally confidently and making no mistakes and making differences easily.
Ma Long is so consistent that he's able to keep his posture even when imbalance or reaching for the ball. Looking at game 4, he's probably the strongest in defense too, never seen anyone else countering FZD's attack like that.
