  • I forgot to mention that the velcro straps that I use are from a company called Envisioned. You can find them on Amazon. They are great quality and affordable. Get the 2" wide straps, whatever length you want, and make sure they are the ones with the metal buckles and not the plastic buckles. I got a variety of lengths and they all come in handy! Highly recommend.

    Quite a stack of gear. I have been commuting 70 mi each way on mine lately and it works pretty well for me with the Top Sellerie seat that I got b/c of your review. I threw on a cheap rear rack and did some 3-D printed parts to make a Harbor Freight drybox go on the back. Not a ton of room, but enough for me probably to go anywhere indefinitely as I am a really light packer (I take a 20l daypack for a trip to Europe...) HF dry case is ugly but it fits my airbag vest with back protector in daily use. Small backpack with computer fits in there for commute. Holds a case of beer plus a little room for more stuff. I just realized I never put up a quick little video on that. I should...
    I have long legs (I'm 6'3") and I put drop pegs with angle adjustment on and I immediately couldn't get used to the feel on the right. My legs have never cramped up so I took them off. Maybe I'll try again later. I couldn't get the brake to feel right on the right. I also haven't installed my bar risers STILL, getting used to them where they are.
    I also find the power is plenty for me. I don't ride to go fast or tempt fate in twisties. I just like a nice inexpensive cruise and commute with no drama. I was going to do a suspension upgrade b/c the sharper hits were so harsh on my back, but the SEAT change made those tolerable.

      @@SethJayson Thanks for watching and your detailed reply. I love how you have made the bike your own by figuring out what YOU like. The NC750x makes the perfect platform to customize how you like. I would say that unless putting the bar risers on/off is easy than don't worry about it. That was the one mod that I didn't feel was as necessary as I originally thought and if I was to do it over then I probably have just rotated the stock bars a little bit forward instead of putting in all the hours to install the Rox 2" risers. Anyway I'm glad my review of the seat helped you! It's an awesome bike, enjoy!

    Impressive packing job! I'm getting my NC750 ready for my first bike camping trip. Im starting with short trips and expect to be under 75 pound with gear and food. I've been rather concerned about unstable handling by getting too top heavy. I now feel I've got nothing to worry about after seeing your rig! :)
    I'm curious to know if you upgraded your rear sock? If your total load is 400 pounds an adjustable pre-load could really make a huge difference.

      Thanks man! Yea, the bike was rock solid even with all the gear but here's my disclaimer: I strapped everything down super tight, kept heavier items low and evenly distributed, and I took it real slow and checked all the rigging after 30 mins of riding just to make sure it stayed tight. My trip was only 2 hours. I would pack a little lighter if I was traveling further than that. Plus having the center stand made it much easier to load and strap everything down evenly. I wouldn't recommend doing it on the kickstand where the bike is leaning, especially if you have a lot of weight. Thanks for watching and ride safe brother!

      PS... I did not upgrade or even adjust my rear shock because it still felt okay but I would have looked into it if I was doing really long journeys. But for my trip the standard shock did just fine. The bike is a beast! 😅

    I am in Seattle also, this is going to be my next bike. I ride a Yamaha Xmax 300 and a HD Roadking

      Hey man, that's awesome! It sounds like the NC750X would fit a spot right in between your Xmax and your Roadking. I had a Suzuki Burgman 400 scooter and it was great for the internal storage, convenience, maneuverability, etc. but once I had the NC750X it was like having all those benefits but also more power and presence on the road and I never looked back. And the NC750X will be much easier taking into the city than the Roadking. I can still park my NC750X on the sidewalk in a pinch and treat it like a scooter. And yet, there will be scenarios where the Xmax might still be your go-to ride. Anyway, 2 motorbikes and a scooter is a great stable to have! Thanks for watching!

      Hey! This is a long shot but thought I would reach out just in case you are still in the market. As it turns out, I might have to sell my NC750X. Let me know if you are interested and I'd give you a screaming deal. Most of the heavy lifting has already been done to make it a truly excellent ride. Just let me know! Thanks!

    Is the fuel filler not under the pillion seat? Refuelling is one of the only frustrations I have with my Nc700 when packing luggage for a longer trip, trying to get access to that filler without having to unstrap everything.

      You're absolutely right! It is but luckily my trip was only 2 hours away so I made it on a single tank of gas otherwise I would have been annoyed. The rear positioned gas tank has its bonuses but sometimes it's a hassle and trips with lots of baggage attached would have to be planned strategically. Usually I like how it forces me to get up and stretch. Thanks for watching!

    what are those reflectors that you put on the front suspension shocks?

      Oh I think you mean the Denali day time running lights. You can see more about them on some of my earlier videos including one where I show what they look like at night time.

    I would like to buy one. I would like to ask you, how many kilograms does the bike travel with a full tank while carrying such a weight? Greetings to you 🙏🏻

      About 250 if you do high speed driving. Tank is very small

      Thank you Is it comfortable to travel as a beginner's first bike

    • @TheDreamcycles
      @TheDreamcycles  29 дней назад

      Yes, the bike is comfortable but if you are a beginner then keep the bike in the lower speed driver modes and gradually move up as you gain more confidence. It's a pretty strong bike for a beginner but the DCT makes it a little easier.

    Did you get the seat with the gel insert, or the regular one? And do you still like it after riding a year?

    • @TheDreamcycles

      I can't recall and it doesn't specify on my invoice but I know I ordered the 'deluxe' seat from Top Sellerie (without the heating). I hope that helps. And yes, I absolutely recommend it still. It is the best seat I've had on any bike so far. It is firm but plush and not too squishy and I like that. Thanks for watching.

      That can't be safe on the back can it 😂

    • @TheDreamcycles

      Actually, it was totally fine. I was a little nervous at first. I took it slow and then I stopped after 1 hour of riding, but everything was rock solid. In the future, I'm going to try and just strap one bag down but for a short 2-3-hour trip (not exceeding 72mph), I felt very safe. But as always, I recommend strapping, compressing, double strapping, compressing and triple strapping. LOL! Thanks for watching!

      I’ve a ‘22 NC - also with a Madstad shield. What brand of hand guards did you install? I don’t think my Madstad would allow me to install guards without compromising the turning radius.

    • @TheDreamcycles
      @TheDreamcycles  2 месяца назад

      @@rickseibel5904Nice! I installed the Givi hanguards specific for the new NC750x. They won't withstand a fall because they are plastic but they are perfect for wind and rain protection. I can just barely lock my handlebars with the maadstad shield - no effect on the steering radius luckily. Thanks for watching!
