thanks for sharing your mods, I have just taken delivery yesterday on my brand new NC750x so your add on's are giving me great ideas. ride safe and regards from the UK.
Thanks Villain Catcher. Very informative. I'm a retired villain catcher myself from SA. Had my 2017 for almost 2 years after trading up (some might say down) from an 2003 R1150R in January 2023. Like your mods and am looking at adding some Barkbusters and maybe a more free flowing exhaust to my bike. Wondered if you've had any issues with the standard suspension? Last couple of rides have seemed a lot more jarring than I recall from first few thousand k's. Considering having some mods to front forks and changing rear shock. Martin from Gawler, SA.
Thanks Martin for your service. I have just had the oil of both front forks changed together with the fork seals. I was amazed at the transformation, no longer a bumpy and jarring ride. Good luck with yours. Greg from the Gold Coast, Queensland.
Hi, some nice ideas. Centre stand is the first thing I bought for mine, chain and wheel maitainence is so much easier. How do you install the fork gaiters.
Love everything you've done to enhance your NC! In fact there some I'd like to explore and see if they're compatible with my 2022 model. Hoping you might a moment to provide a few links as mentioned in the video. These are the ones I'm most interested in.. Engine Guards Rear Hugger Time & Temp Thingy Front Fork Covers Free GPS software. Hard to hear the name in the video Thanks much!
@Richard-dh8ny I no longer have the links. May I suggest you search ebay or just google what you want, I'm sure you will find them. The offline GPS is called Sygic. You will find it on Play Store. Good luck.
Thanks much for the name of the GPS App! The main accessory I'm excited to locate and purchase is your Engine Guards. I've done extensive searches and can't find a match. It's almost identical to Givi guards, but the built-in sliders are awesome and exactly what I've been looking for. Hoping you can provide the manufacturer's name or anything that might help me locate the same model. Much Appreciated!!!!
@Richard-dh8ny I have checked my ebay history and it seems I purchased most of the items after a search there. Most of the links show as no longer available. The rear hugger came from Pyramid Plastics UK. I crash guards are Givi I think. Hope this helps.
Thanks much for the additional info. I've reached out to Givi Tech Support, however I suspect that your version of their product is no longer available. My search for the optimal engine guards continues. Happy riding! :)
Hi there great bike just great the accessories you have put on your bike . Brilliant fuel economy. & does everything your want of a bike . & theses day what want to lose there licence. As the NC is yes fast enough to do all the speed limits .
Hiya great video. I maybe buying a 2016 model same as you have in video. The 2016 model is DIFRENT than later models. My question is I'm 5.6 tall and between 29 and 30 inseem.. Would you say that at 5.6 it would be ok to ride with my height,ie feet on ground.... I would greatfull if you could reply....as I'm thinking of purchasing same year as yours.. Thank you.
Great bike to ride except for the suspension which is basic. Having said that, I have not upgraded the suspension as I'm content with it as is. It is a much lighter bike than the Varadero and it is very economical to run and easy to maintain. Great video, lots of great mods. Wondering where you bought that clock & temp gauge??
Chinese from Ali Express or Temu
@@villaincatcher thanks👌🏼
Who makes those engine guards? They look very good on your bike.
From Givi
Good stuff all around! Where can we get that clock/temp guage stickon? Thx JP
On ebay 4 years ago. $12.95 Aus delivered from China.
Wondering about #11 the clock/day/date/temp farkle. Hard to find one that is just right for this spot. Can you post a link?
Sorry for the late reply. I purchased it from a Chinese online outlet, can't find the link but it arrived from China to Australia in a week.

You can get a lowering kit. Also your bike boots will give you another inch or so. Best try the bike before you buy. Good luck with it.
Great review of your accessories, and how do you fined the bike overall.currently riding a Varadero (XL1000) but looking for something lighter. Thanks

What is the free gps app you mentioned?
Sygic GPS Navigation and Maps. You will find it in Google Playstore. It only requires satellite reception and not internet, therefore, uses no data
Why not put on a steering dampener?
Thought about it but decided the steering was OK without it.
If it needs a steering damper there is something inherently wrong with the bikes steering 🤷🏻♂️
