Danny Carey is like fine wine , or to be less cliche , like a true master who I’m sure feels he is better today in his 50s than ever . The drums get BETTER every album.
They used this for years as the intro after an intermission. Now its C.C.Trip from the latest album, but Danny used it for a few years before the album came out. Its another "drum solo" track with a bit more solo and no one else. When you get to it (in a couple albums from now) be sure to listen to the album version then the live after, maybe in the same video.
Tool is a band you have to set aside any concept of time or preconceptions on how music should be made to really enjoy to fullest. If your impatient or want pleasant sounds your not always gonna get it..
Only recently did i fully appreciate this track. I used to be Maynard obsessed so I didn't give instrumentals the respect they deserved lol. Danny is absolutely amazing on this track.

@@Soljarag5 Haha...legendary is more you than me. I'm mostly now in non-comment mode though since I broke my shoulder (the humerus) on my dominant side. Typing is difficult, and talk texting always seems to come out wrong, so I mainly just use emoji's right now. Oh, broke my toe real bad too, dominant side of course, so yeah, don't fall down when you're old. Lol

“He’s a good drummer”???... I realize that as time goes by that newer generations take common words and add new definitions to them. Sick, Retarded, Dope, Fire, Viral, etc....admittedly I’m not quite up to date with the youth of today(being a child of the 70/80s), but did I miss the redefinition of the word “good”? Are the younger generations just looking at transcendent, unattainable, once in a generation talent, skill, and artistry and calling it “good”? Michael Phelps was a “good” swimmer, Bo Jackson was “good” athlete, Kubrick was a “good” director, Phoebe Cates looked “good” getting out a pool, Bill Clinton was a “good” liar, and Roadhouse was “good” movie?!
