So if a civet starts "showing some affection" that means we should really take a bath.
Pangolin: "God dammit, not again..."
I shall call you a Catacoon
I WILL CUDDLE YOU BY FORCE
Also, is it just me or did anyone else think that pangolin climbing the branch at the end of the video looked incredibly fake?
There's a little mistake in the introduction. They don't belong to the same family as mongooses. Civets belong to Viverridae, while mongooses belong to Herpestidae.
They are related to mongooses
Ilham Budi Abdillah mongooses are one of their closes relatives, thats why he said that. Kinda inaccurate but ight
@@Solomon0424 In suborder level, not family.
Thank you
@@Solomon0424distantly. This is like saying a raccoon is related to a bear because they both belong in the caniformia suborder
Thanks NatGeo! I wish you guys would post full length videos like this one.
SO cute! I've never seen a civet before. =)
Who's that Pokemon!?
iiiiits civit XD
IT'S PIKACHU
It’s civit!
I've seen cartoons before. Finally, I see a catoon.
lol just watched Killing Bites and was curious what a Civet was so I watched this..
Saw one in the wild once. Absolutely beautiful.
Civets are actually more closely related to the hyena family than the cat family
Actually like a cat but it's not related to a hyena....and also hyena is a canine species don't believe what scientist tell you
@@allenbrown3974 bro I will absolutely believe a scientist when they say a hyena is not a canine. Don’t be an insolent child. Things aren’t the way they are because you want them to be.
@@allenbrown3974 that's objectively not true
sandchrew! use defense curl!
Civet: JUST LET ME CUDDLE YOU!
Pangolin: NUUUUU! ;_;
Civets, a crazy bunch of cute dudes. 😂
A Pangolin? He's more weird than the Civit. Keep seeing animals I've never seen or heard of & I think I've seen every animal documentary since Walt Disney. Amazing.
What an amazing animal!
What fascinating creatures! I had no idea that civets were so enraptured of a malingering stench, and had never even heard of the armadillo-like pangolin.
Weirdly enough, the pangolin is more closely related to the civet than it is to armadillos.
So cute!
i love this guy!
Pangolin is saying,”🤬 get out of my face,” to the Civets
It's like part mongoose, part hyena, part raccoon, part cat and part ferret. Ima call em mongaracatenet
СУПЕР!!!
Every night this cute chivet is running around in my ceiling.
It looks like a raccoon and acts like a cat. I also saw one of those at Mexico.
The Civet belongs to the Carnivore suborder Feliformia, which includes Felids, Hyenas, and Mongooses. They are more closely related to Felids and other Feliform mammals than to Caniform carnivores such as dogs, bears, or raccoons.
that civet cat love hugging
I remember watching the : Wild Kindom as a child, I liked it. later the anmial channel. Good to learn things especially out of your element.
The armadillo thingy lol was interesting as well.
I don't know what it is, but I HAVE to have one now!
Civet: "Let me rub you up and until we stop".
sooo cuuttee
Nice
I learned something new!
They don't just look funny but they also act funny and smell funny.
Poor innocent pangolin!
anyone wonder where all these docu clips come from? not talking about the clip being uploaded, just the docs for the clips being used
A wild sandshrew appears!
Sandshrew used defense curl!
Furret used surf! It's super effective!
Wild sandshrew fled!
I was thinking the same thing.
What sound does this animal make? I might have gotten this question answered in the video if that was the squeak I kept hearing.
ชอบมาก
Reminds me of a type of weasel.
well im glad u knew that
Its pretty incredible when u find animals that you never know existed, like that Pangolin thing, WTF is that!
It looked so sad when it got away
Seems like a thing to try on people and document there reactions For science
Lol good one...
Raccoon are awesome!
It’s not a raccon it’s a civet but there related to cats and raccoons
It literally said it wasn’t a raccoon
@@user-fx5su6xx7e theyre not closely related to either
@@inthewoods5494 ok
I like both creatures.
I love raccoons and their weird-ass feitishs.
lol!
Civet's once upon a time were once kept as pets by perfume makers who would use their odors to make their commercial musks.
Who else was thinking Sacha Baron Cohen in Madagascar. Cmon. I like to move it move it
lol
哈哈哈,快跑!遇到瘋狂的留味道的怪客。好可愛!希望可以看全集。
I'm here from killing bits
D.Q sean me to XD
I don't know , but my Dexter says its a grass Pokemon that has been used to make Repel Potions.
Little boy didn't like the scaley creature :):)
I want one
I'm more curious about that armadillo looking thing
So it's like if a skunk and a possum had a baby
I found the pangolin scarier than the civet!
The announcer ruins this for me.
in Indonesia is Luwak,,,he made an expensive type of coffee
It kind of acts like a ferret.
I have seen a civet cat outside my village.
Pakistan
If I was high this would be amazing
Cass Tan it was indeed amazing
It's a Caccoon or Raccat..
Did any one knows more about the animal called "Jawad or Malabar large civet" I mean what is the present status.. how many of them are left in the wild.. I didn't find any recent updates about this animal in internet. And also, I cannot find any valid video footage of this animal. Those who are not familiar : this is the most critically endangered animal found in Western ghats india
Poor Civet He Just Want To Be a Friend With Pangolin
reminds me of my dog.
"Neither here nor there," agreed? *NOIR*
I want one! Lol
lol catcoon. from icarly
Lol
Catcoon from dst !!!
In Indonesia, they feed civets coffee beans and then brew their poo.
Pepe is that you?!?
Civet cats would love my dog then!
What could be better than fermented fruit?
Poor pangolin!
Basilus Fawltimus.
salam
Its*
That is the most common place for them on the majority of animals.
sounds like a pokemon
Civet coffee
The scent glands just had the be near the genitals..
Poor bullied pangolin! :(
I hope both of them are protected species.
I'm convinced Rocket from Guardians of the Galaxy is one of these creatures.
Poor pangolin :/
Its a ferrit
Sense of scent? Why doesn't that sound right to me? Scent is the sense? Sense of smell, but smell isn't scent .. ? Right??
Did the announcer mean neck instead of genitals?
It's a CatCoon
It's a raccoonacat (:
Kemal Abi national geopratich e çıkmış
Like atın üste çıksın
Lol what a weirdo.
Possum or weasel 😮
reminds me of my boss..
