Kawasaki Z900RS Review in The Philippines

- Come and check out the Z900rs, Perfect for the streets of Manila, Philippines. Certainly well within the tollway criteria. I found this Kawasaki Z900RS fun to ride. The suspension was a little softer than I expected which made it a bouncy ride at high speeds. But at the same time the highways are not as smooth as they are in the UK. First bike I laid my eyes on upon coming to Manila from EU was the Z900RS, a rare beast in the city but seems like a tremendous bike for commuting. I would never have the balls to ride it during the rainy days even with some ultra premium tires but this video gives me hope one day I can get the courage to ride a fast bike in wet conditions.

Such a beautiful bike. Between the honda cb1100, yamaha xsr900 and other competitor I’d put my money on this bike. Great shots by the way, you really managed to show the beauty of this bike.

Surprising how you ride over bumps and your voice doesn't shake, looks like it soaks up bumps really nice.
Another great review man...such a nice, retro stylised bike reminiscent of them 'murican' diners and swish Cadillacs! Perfect bike to roll into a Coldstones and have a tub of ice cream thrown on your face! 😆😄

Nice to hear a Brit doing a good review in the Philippines. I used to ride when I lived on Bohol and for the previous 35 years in UK and enjoyed the experience in the Philippines. I loved the original and nearly bought one in about 1978 but at about £3000 it was too much for me then. Now they can be bought for about £9500 back in UK and cheaper here in France. Good video and well put together.

I'm sure the Z I looked at in Chiang Rai was this colour.

Ahmer Choudhary yeah they certainly took a leap of faith with this bike and it worked out in the end with them. I feel like it’s a little bit more courageous with its design since it’s more retro than the modern retro bikes lol

It's a hard choice, I like both bikes. I like the torque on my XSR900 and the suspension. But the Kawasaki sounds much better with the stock exhaust and the rims are nicer in my opinion.

I’ve got a Z900RS. No, there’s no need to change the exhaust, to me it is perfect. Not too loud, not too quiet. It has been engineered by Kawasaki to have the perfect note.

Hi there thanks for liking the video, this bike is a little lower than my XSR900 but will still be ok if you're 6'2. in terms of is being noisy, it's not this bike sounds beautiful when cruising. for road trips you might want to buy a wind screen to deflect all the wind. The seat is super comfortable on this bike.

Its well worth the difference! Get the Yamaha it looks way better in my opinion

What's the height of the bike? Compare with your xsr900?
This bike sits lower than a Yamaha XSR probably about 2cm lower. I can get both feet flat on the ground and I'm 5'10. Thanks for watching :)

Something is off with the suspension settings or tire pressure/balance. No way that bike should be bouncing up and down like that.
Those are rebranded brembos :)

David Falgout they literally have small brembo logos on them and you can buy parts for them from brembo with brembo part numbers
