  • @ESCSebbe
    @ESCSebbe 2 года назад +41

    And this is why we have juries…
    1st in televote by the biggest landslide ever is Ukraine and then Moldova 2nd… Really? Like I totally get that it’s a vibe but yeah not really the second best song of the evening

      Because we want entertainment, ballads are great but there was far too many. 13-18 was kinda boring to sit through

    Congrats to Ukraine, well deserved win. I'm a bit concerned that France will never bring another regional language to Eurovision again. I like the Breton language so I'd like to hear the other languages too (there's more than Breton, apparently). I hope France is not discouraged by this result.

    After the last year's quite unexpected jury results at some places of the scoreboard we went back to all the stereotypes about them again... "Adult serious uncles and aunts" that vote for all the possible slow songs, big favourites and Sweden (no matter are they favourites or not). Not forgetting to underrate Poland, of course, even when they have the most jury-friendly their song since... I don't even know. And all the non-favourite bops in the bottom. Feels like someone made some caricature collecting all the stereotypes about Eurovision juries.

      I think that jury should be removed. Why 5 people decides about 50% of points i don't get it and it is soo unfair. I feel that Poland as always was robbed by jury and Serbia also was robbed by jury, and can anyone explain to me why Belgium which vocals wasn't so good and Switzerland which song was so boring and didn't have any "vocal moment" got more points than Poland where vocals were flawless?

      @@sylwia19099 NO! I love jury's top 3 (my favorite songs/performances). Poland sang good, but too academic and without charisma. But Moldova over UK and Spain is nonsense..

      @@melisaln.1119 There is a couple of years where i more agree with the jury but still i think is soo unfair that 5 peolpe decide abut 50% of the ponts. In my opinion jury if they had to stay they will work better if they wouldn't be only 5 people but at least 10 and their names and votes should be transparent so they can explain why they give points, I think that could help reduce political jury voting. In this year i only can appreciate that Portugal was 4th in jury voting, it is more fair but it's still only my opinion and if the thousands of people prefer Moldova i accept this

      @@sylwia19099 A jury is needed. Yes, some of them are not entirely conscientious, but in general they reduce the voting of neighbors and diasporas. In addition, let's not forget that this competition is watched by almost the whole world and it needs prestige. We need professional performers. Yes, this year was special because of the war, but everyone understands why not the strongest won. I completely agree that there should be transparency in the voting of the jury and the explanation of their choice.

    These results were fixed as most of the Eastern Europeans juries did not award Ukraine with 12 points that's why they had so many technical issues all of a sudden.
