@@AnonymSwede This song was written by Cornelia herself, by her best friend and new boyfriend. She have been friends with her best friend for 17 years. The song was written last summer when she met her new boyfriend during the time she just had broken up with her ex and her feelings for her ex were still strong and fresh when the song got written.
Not often do songs give me goosebumps during the first chorus, and then some more as they go along! It's just such a beautiful song, great voice and Cornelia is such a talent! ❤❤
If you ever found the right one but at the wrong time, this song will hit you hard! And i think we are many who have done that. So beautiful lyrics! Goosebumps every time I listen to this! Go Cornelia in Turin! Haven't had this winner vibe since we sent Loreen and Euphoria!
I thank there is no such thing as finding the right one but at the wrong time, there is only falling for a wrong person out of immaturity and not having learnt your lessons. A mature person should know their worth and leave this kind of situationship at the first or second major red flag. This woman is too old for singing about such problems.
One of the best songs Eurovision ever heard, and I'm not only speaking about this year because this year it's by far the best. Corenlia filled the stage without dancing and filled the minds without being naked.
Honestly didn't think I would love this as much as I do. This song has grown on me more and more. The Netherlands was my my favourite until this, it is a classically beautiful song. The best ones (like this) have a melancholic vibe . Beauty infused with sadness, f*cking perfect Sweden!
She feels so authentic, raw and real. She's not relying heavily on the stage to the do the performance for her with a big screen, lights, background dancers, she's just her. Feels like she's not trying to be special yet she is. Can't wait to see her in ESC!
Sweden have had loads of genuinely cool and interesting artists and songs the last 2 decades. That often feel more genuine and have a cool point of view. We just don’t send them. They tend to come in 2nd or 3rd place. And we send a very very polished well written and perfectly sung (but sort of boring) pop song instead. Usually the stage number is a lot better for the pop song. Loreen was like the perfect embodiment of the type of cool artist that normally would end up 2nd place in Melodifestivalen, but she got the same level of really polished staging the winning pop songs usually have so she actually mange to win Mello (and Eurovision). And the one time we sent our typical 2nd place type artist in 2007(?) with “worrying kind” with the ark. You guys hated it. But atleast it was something I thought was genuinely cool of us to send to Eurovision.
Do you imagine this song winning? It would be one of the most beautiful Eurovision winning ballads of all time and the following generations would still love it, sing it, remember it. It has this eternal emotions that a evergreen song needs: raw, sincere, vulnerable. I think all of us can relate to some point with the song. I can see this song going in European collective memory. I really hope this songs wins.
This gives me a memory of when I first watched “A Star Is Born” and Shallow was played in stadium, it’s so tender, euphoric, full of emotion and raw. First time Sweden has given me something so close to heart, not over produced and raw and that will defo score a result. Amazing, thank you Sweden for being authentic. Love from Lithuania.
I'm from Sweden and when hearing the song for the first thing I told my mom was, it reminded me by Shallow but I had no idea why. I'm happy I am not the only one haha. I guess it is something about the melody and the emotions. I love this song and I love Shallow.
Great post, I totally agree with your point of view. Good luck too, to Monika representing Lithuania. A very classy, melodic song that sticks in your mind. We have such beautiful ballads this year.

Well done Cornelia! This song feels so raw and authentic. This is not about Sweden winning at Eurovison (I certainly hope it will), its about Sweden finally sending something genuine and „less polished“. Thank you mello juries
If this song was carried by Albania, for example, it would be one of the last. Not only because Sweden carries a song does it have to be automatically good. More objectivity please. I personally like this song but it is not a winning song.
Thank you international juries and Sweden overall for making this masterpiece winning. It is your best song since 2015, my winner of 2022, and I think that it is a contender to win this year. Congratulations, you would really deserve getting the seventh victory, love from Spain.

This is clearly the musical winner. Great voice, decent text, and a great event. The song catches on after only hearing it once. This song stands for itself without masks and other patches. A completely honest performance. I, and probably others from Norway (and Sweden) cheer on you Cornelia. Good luck in the final!
I have to admit that I initially did not understand the hype, but watching the Melodifestivalen final last night, I went from not getting it to adoring the song in just under two hours. Cornelia is truly talented and this song feels so raw, Sweden is really sending its best this year!

In my opinion most of Swedens Eurovision songs are really good. But this one just hits diffrent to me. Idk how but it does. 🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪
Yes Sweden is Top 💛💙💛💙🇸🇪
That's probably because the same two Swedish guys write most of the songs in Eurovision, and obviously they keep the best one for Sweden.
@@JMPERager This song was written by her and her best friend when they were 17 😯
@@AnonymSwede This song was written by Cornelia herself, by her best friend and new boyfriend.

same like literally goosebumps the first time
If you ever found the right one but at the wrong time, this song will hit you hard! And i think we are many who have done that. So beautiful lyrics! Goosebumps every time I listen to this! Go Cornelia in Turin! Haven't had this winner vibe since we sent Loreen and Euphoria!
So true
I thank there is no such thing as finding the right one but at the wrong time, there is only falling for a wrong person out of immaturity and not having learnt your lessons. A mature person should know their worth and leave this kind of situationship at the first or second major red flag. This woman is too old for singing about such problems.
Send me crying immediately when I first heard it, thank God I was alone! It was not a pretty sight 😅
One of the best songs Eurovision ever heard, and I'm not only speaking about this year because this year it's by far the best. Corenlia filled the stage without dancing and filled the minds without being naked.
That last part was completely unnecessary.

What a great voice and beautiful song!! I’m Italian, I hope she’ll win this competition. She deserves the victory 😍
Got the same ‘a star is born’-vibe from this!
It's becasue the chorus is very similar to Shallow...
If Sweden won the Eurovision 2022, I would be happy. This song has winning material. Finally, right song from Sweden.

Well done Cornelia! This song feels so raw and authentic. This is not about Sweden winning at Eurovison (I certainly hope it will), its about Sweden finally sending something genuine and „less polished“. Thank you mello juries
I don't see why this is less polished then previous years. It is what Sweden always sends. Very commercial.
If this song was carried by Albania, for example, it would be one of the last. Not only because Sweden carries a song does it have to be automatically good. More objectivity please. I personally like this song but it is not a winning song.
@@JavierBG26 it would be my number one if whatever country sent this. And usually I am very critical when it comes to Sweden
@@JavierBG26 It is not a bad song. But it is nothing special at all. To me (an Austrian) this feels very like Helene Fischer. Very Schlager.
