it’s her winner performance that’s why she was so emotional and sometimes the vocals was not perfect ! I love that’s song ! Sweden have big chances to win 😍😍
Sweden is my favorte to win the whole thing! I'm glad Sweden chose something that felt real this year rather then their normal catchy pop song without much meaning.
We can't win every year, that's no fun, so we have to send some "normal catchy pop songs without much meaning" in between the winners to give other countries a chance as well.. And to make sure Eurovision keeps going, so we can keep winning ;) Also, it would ruin our public broadcasting company SVT if they had to host both Melodifestivalen and Eurovision every year ;P
Love your jacket today. Just so you know this was her performance after she had already won. Camera angles were different and her voice was obviously very emotional, and she shouted out to the crowd a couple of times
Yes, and smiled in a way that obviously didn't match the mood of the song, but knowing it's her performance after winning, it makes more sense. For her actual performance her body language (face) matched the aching mood of the song. Love her! My winner!
Awwv it's a shame you picked the the performance after she won. It's still very good but it's kot how it's suppose to be. She's much more serious in the main performance. I hope you check that one out aswell since this doesn't really do it justice.
Love it! So proud that we choose this song to represent us in ESC! Cornelia told Swedish press that she also have found love again, during the work with this song ❤️🇸🇪
Great reaction, interesting to hear your opinions, I like when you explain things about the voices and the songs. Her dad is a singer in a rock band, the Poodles, that has competed in Melfest twice, so perhaps that's where she has got the rock voice and stage presence from. In addition to that, her grandma is a pianist, director, opera composer, teacher at the Royal Swedish Academy of Music and founder of an operahouse in Stockholm, so she have a lot of music in her family. I love this song so much, the lyrics breaks my heart, I can really feel and remember this moment and her voice fits the song perfectly. She wrote it together with her best friend Isa Molin, and a guy, David Zandén, who is now her boyfriend (he's not the guy in the song), so it´s really personal. I love the rasp in her voice, I just want to sing along, and sometimes I do (sorry neighbours!). I really hope that the audience in Turin will sing along, that could be a really amazing moment.
I’ve been waiting all week for you to react on Cornelia Jakobs from Sweden. 🙏 You should be aware you reacted on the winning performance and it would been more fair to react on her normal performance from the final.
Glad you like it. I loved it from the first heat of Melodifestivalen and saw her perform it live at the Friends Arena in the final in Stockholm and the performance in the arena was electric. It is my number one for Eurovision this year. Would love it to win.
This is my number one. This song is an absolute earworm and I am not joking when I say this has been stuck in my head since it won on Saturday. The emotion gives it that realness that a lot of Sweden's songs have been lacking. I absolutely love everything about this. ❤️❤️❤️ Stockholm 2023. Can't wait for your reaction to Greece's entry. My 2nd place.
Hi Georgina! I like your channel and I use to watch it often. You are quick in your mind every time of each Esc- song of what it's about :) I'm Swedish guy and I am so happy that you like the Swedish entry this year. :) Cornelia's raspy voice is something special. It was the best song who won this year. I'm so glad. I really hope she is doing great in Eurovision. Cornelia is a new fresh young singer to the big audiences even though she have been singing and writing music for many years. So this is her big breakthrough. I think it's a good song, kinda rock-style-ballad with spice. For many years back, this is finally the right song who won Melodifestivalen. Have you listen to the song several times now? Watch the performance again plz :) Best Regards, Martin
That high note at the end was a nice touch she added only for her winning performance. I hope she brings it to Turin because boy does it elevate an already good song 😩👌
When I first saw this in the Swedish semi-final I really liked it, but then as I had it in my playlist on Spotify it kind of sank for me. I found myself wanting to skip the song quite often (I had all the finale songs on repeat in the week leading up to it). But then when she performed it in the finale I loved it again! So I think for me the actual performance and her genuineness (is that a word? 😆) is what draws me in. I don't know if anyone else feels that way, or if so what that will mean for the song's chances in the ESC, but either way I'm excited!
Seems my voice is also sounding a bit tired singing my heart off. I could need some help to choose the songs that fit my voice. Have heard I have a very pleasent voice speaking to a big audience and also in smaller apperancies in educational moments. And a friend that sing in a choir told me I have a good timbre... not quite knowing what that means. But when I sing I realise I have some issues whith some notes, going in a scale from down to up and back the voice cracks at cearian moment and I don't understand that. It's like my voice lack a bit of the scale. Think my voice is most suited for more folklore songs, americana, irish and so on. Songs from Peter, Paul & Mary seems to fit my voice well. Need some help to find my best voice 😊
So far in the 3rd place in the eurovision odds/bookmakers😱 I've nothing against this song. It remembers me thousands of other songs ... and , actually, that's the only problem about it!
Love your videos. They are so enjoyable and entertaining but also something to learn from. However, how would you rate and describe your own singing voice?😊
Before the first show she was in (we swedes make a huge deal of this each year with quarter- semifinals and the grand finale 😅) there was a 30 second rehearsal video of each artist/band. And it had something I couldn't put my finger on. Then the show came and I knew it was a hit. I didn't know that it would win and I actually thought of a few others who might, but by the end of it all I don't think we could've chosen a better song! And I'm glad we have an international jury (yes, we are That nuts about eurovison) that saved us from not sending Anders Bagge instead. He actually got a lot more votes by the Swedish public, but I don't think it would stand as big of a chance tbh.
Yes this was the repeat performance after Cornelia had won, she changed some of the singing in the end compared to original. She is such a good singer. I love this. But what did you expect? I'M SWEDISH!!! 🙂
I kinda get reminded of the soundtrack of "A Star is born" when listening to this song. It seems to be a perfect song that would fit in said soundtrack
Hi Georgina, I apologize for using this comment section to ask a personal question cuz I don't like to take the attention away from the person on the video but are you able to tell someone what association/voice type they are? I wanted to ask you in a couple of my recordings I sent in to you a couple years ago if you could please tell me if Im a mezzo or light lyric soprano and I could kick myself for it . And would I be able to simply send you a recording on Wiso and you could tell from that particular recording? I really do believe you are one of the best vocal teachers out there and value your opinion. I know that some say it's not really important.. but it is to me.. I'd really just like to know. Thank you.. Linda B.
I am a bit sad that you reacted to the winners performance, since it's never their best one. Some people cry it through, some people can barely sing. With all of her emotions, I think she really handled it! 😁
Can you please listen and react to my way by Tone Sekelius? She came in fifth place in the finals and it’s really amazing and Tone is the first transgender artist in Melodifestivalen
She sceamed so much when she was announced as the winner. An ever took some toll on her vocal chords. That ANd the adrenaline. So This version is a better performance: ruclips.net/video/KmAcQeudaZw/видео.html
Happy Birthday Dear Georgina! Is it really your birthday today? Best wishes to you ,well done! good on you . 🎂🍫🍧🍨🥂🍾🍷🥃🍮🍮🍭🍬Sweden's 7th ESC Victory is on the way. very strong entry. Cornillia is going to win with all respect to the Ukrainian excellent vibes entry this year , support, love and sympathy . our 12 points will be given to both to Sweden and Ukrain. love from Israel. peace, love, and harmony. 🇮🇱🇸🇪♥️🇺🇦🇮🇱🇸🇪♥️🇺🇦🇮🇱🇸🇪♥️
Georgina, why are you breaking up the videos. I would really prefer to listen to the entire song and enjoy your reactions to it, not only the verbal comments, I also love your facial expressions when reacting to the music.
This sounds like a typical Sweden "does well at Eurovision" song. The jury's will love it. I dont know why but I don't. Maybe it's the music and production. Vocals are good.
I have really learned to love the song, but am 100% convinced that her vocal timbre is COMPLETELY WRONG for the emotional nature of this song. Sanna Nielsen would be perfect for this.. I love a good raspy voice, but it is seriously diastracting from the impact.
I, as well as thousands other, have heard that A LOT. You already know the answer on that question! Now stop spreading this annoying BS and complain about Spain instead THAT song is overrated- and it sucks.
I really doubt it's gonna do well. Early on esc fans like to hype up Swedish entries even though it's not really good. We saw it last year with tusse. Though I do kinda like the song her voice is just not it. Idk guess we'll see what happens.
Tusse did not have hype at all outside of Sweden last year, in fact most people were hating on his song. Sweden hasn't had this much love from Eurofans since Undo in 2014.
it’s her winner performance that’s why she was so emotional and sometimes the vocals was not perfect ! I love that’s song ! Sweden have big chances to win 😍😍
Watch the whole video before commenting 3:27 ☺️☺️
Yeah! Should have choosed another… in Sweden the performance when they (win) is not the best…
But she didn’t win ..
@@michaozga7825they meant when they win their national selection, which Cornelia did
Sweden is my favorte to win the whole thing! I'm glad Sweden chose something that felt real this year rather then their normal catchy pop song without much meaning.
Hii im from sweden 😁

Great song as often happens with Sweden :) Her rasp voice reminds me of Bonnie Tyler.
I though the same when I first hear it, but Bonnie Tyler made a better use of that feature of her voice
Exactly, me too!
Love her! My winner!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GEOGRINA! 🎉❤️

Thanks for your reaction and later your version of this song. I simply love the song and performence. Makes me both happy and crying at the same time.
One of my favorites this year. Loved your reaction as always.
My winner!! I love Italy's song as well, but I just prefer this song. Absolutely stunning entry!
If Sweden or Italy wins I will be happy. It makes me sad to think only one can win QQ
Glad you like it. I loved it from the first heat of Melodifestivalen and saw her perform it live at the Friends Arena in the final in Stockholm and the performance in the arena was electric. It is my number one for Eurovision this year. Would love it to win.
Definitely in the top 5 of the year, such a good song
Her dad is a famous rock singer in Sweden so it's in her family ..
”famous”
This is my winner for this year!
Tears never deceive !
My favourite😍 I’m so glad she won. Hope Sweden is coming back to top 5
I can see this being top 5 at ESC, very good.
My fave so far in ESC 2022. She really has a chance of winning the whole competition😍
This is my number one. This song is an absolute earworm and I am not joking when I say this has been stuck in my head since it won on Saturday. The emotion gives it that realness that a lot of Sweden's songs have been lacking. I absolutely love everything about this. ❤️❤️❤️

cool
That high note at the end was a nice touch she added only for her winning performance. I hope she brings it to Turin because boy does it elevate an already good song 😩👌
She sings like Cerys Matthews of Catatonia. Iadore this. want it top 10 for sure.
She sounds a wee bit like Bonnie Tyler. This is just my favourite song this year. Such a universal story, heartbreak. Beautiful.
Knew u would love the rasp, i do too 🥰
The video you are reacting to is from when she had just won the whole competition and was overwhelmed. Great video though!
SWEDEN WINNER 2022 💜
at 4:50, you said "where is this in your top 10?"
this is right at the top of my list for me.
Love your videos, keep it up!
When I first saw this in the Swedish semi-final I really liked it, but then as I had it in my playlist on Spotify it kind of sank for me. This song is stuk in my head... I heard an more intimate performance that I like the most
You seem to have a good voice too. Musical ear for sure. And I like how sincerely you appreciate Cornelia's performance.
IMO this is a contender, I love it - first worthy song from Sweden since Loreen 2012.
Winner alert!! Sweden didn't come to play this year!
Staging will be exactly the same!
Her voice is tired because she screamed and cried when she found out she had won. You should listen to the real performance. Sounds better!
3:43 OH YEAH! Exactly!
aw georgina! the moment you got really moved poked my heart
This is definitely top 3!
I was reminded about Caerys Matthews here. Great song.
@3:45 - my same reaction "Oh yeah"
For me its Top 1!
Potential winner
Can't wait until you get to react to Austria!
Her voice reminds me of Lane del Ray. Great song!
Seems my voice is also sounding a bit tired singing my heart off. I could need some help to choose the songs that fit my voice. Amazing song. Cmon Cornelia Jacobs, bring ESC back to Sweden
coldplay reactions please.
a sky full of stars
white shadow
and so much more
I would love to hear you doing a rendition of Hold me Closer, I think it would suit your voice well :) beautiful song
I love this song. Sweden could be more brave about song themes imo, but over all i love the song. I don’t see them changing the performance too much
So far in the 3rd place in the eurovision odds/bookmakers😱 I've nothing against this song. It remembers me thousands of other songs ... and , actually, that's the only problem about it!
Best song in the competition. Greetings from The Netherlands!
Love your videos. They are so enjoyable and entertaining but also something to learn from. However, how would you rate and describe your own singing voice?😊
Actually this performance was after winning, so she was happy and smiling, very difficult to reconcile with the song's atmosphere (deception)!
Before the first show she was in (we swedes make a huge deal of this each year with quarter- semifinals and the grand finale 😅) there was a 30 second rehearsal video of each artist/band. And it had something I couldn't put my finger on. Then the show came and I knew it was a hit. I think it's my #3 after Poland and the UK but I'm not sure yet.
I’m waiting for the reaction to the greek entry, i check every day
Is it skipped? Or i can’t find it?
She was sooooo good when she was in her band called Stockholm syndrome!!! Check them out
I kinda get reminded of the soundtrack of "A Star is born" when listening to this song. It seems to be a perfect song that would fit in said soundtrack

Hi there. Yea of course. Jump on wisio and send some clips over x x
You look so beautiful 😍 you are so beautiful! ❤🌷
Denmark is a completely female rock song
Very bad though, sadly.
Suggest the 'stripped' version..🇸🇪
I am a bit sad that you reacted to the winners performance, since it's never their best one. Some people cry it through, some people can barely sing. With all of her emotions, I think she really handled it! 😁
She is my winner this year, it took me 3 times to like it fully so it is definietly a grower
The song is about meeting the right person at the wrong time.
as a swede myself, I love this song, but some songs in eurovision are good too.
That's the wrong version to react to. She sang that after she had won

And you took the wrong version after she won, redo! Official video please! It's like judging a runner After a race.
Greece top of the top💙
Georgina, why are you breaking up the videos. I would really prefer to listen to the entire song and enjoy your reactions to it, not only the verbal comments, I also love your facial expressions when reacting to the music.
It's due to copyright reasons
finally someone react to the final .. much better
I guess the voice is cracking more since she had just won in this performance though..
My winner this year.
Winner written all over it. It may not win, but it ticks all the boxes. Plus her name and her look…..easy marketing!
This sounds like a typical Sweden "does well at Eurovision" song. The jury's will love it. I dont know why but I don't. Maybe it's the music and production. Vocals are good.
Better than all the other entries
Why do everyone keep reacting to the wrong performance? 😩
That's the winning performance.
Still loved the reaction tho 😂
Hello! Im from sweden🇸🇪🥰
You mentioned there’s a male rock song but not really a female one. There is! You forgot about Denmark!
You should've done her finals performance and not after she won, her voice wasn't the best in this one
Wow This is top 3 save my top 1
Up to ten! for a tighter position I do not see this song!
Αnlucky Cornelia on her way there are better ballads like Greece and The Netherlands.
You picked the wrong performance to watch! This after she won so vocals weren’t as good
I have really learned to love the song, but am 100% convinced that her vocal timbre is COMPLETELY WRONG for the emotional nature of this song. Sanna Nielsen would be perfect for this.. I love a good raspy voice, but it is seriously diastracting from the impact.
First listen for me and that's a pretty good one and i don't really like anything Mello/Eurovision...most songs are pretty boring to be honest.
Reminds me of Lady Gaga
You're not playing the whole song and you break it up to much. I just feel stressed listening unfortunately.
Reacting to winning performances doesn’t make sense
Jesus!! Didnt here the song!!! Play the song and talk after
I love her voice, reminds me of Kim Carnes but sorry, for me the song isn't memorable at all. Definite Top Ten but for me, not the winner.
Only me don't know why it's so overrated?
I, as well as thousands other, have heard that A LOT. You already know the answer on that question! Now stop spreading this annoying BS and complain about Spain instead THAT song is overrated- and it sucks.
Me too
Is it overrated when so many love it?
Yes, only you.
Is it overrated? Or is it just that you don't find is as good as many does? And you just can't understand why these people like it?
I really doubt it's gonna do well. Early on esc fans like to hype up Swedish entries even though it's not really good. We saw it last year with tusse. Though I do kinda like the song her voice is just not it. Idk guess we'll see what happens.
Tusse was never hyped though. It was disliked straight away. It was to be fair very mediocre. This song is worth the praise it receives
Tusse did not have hype at all outside of Sweden last year, in fact most people were hating on his song. Sweden hasn't had this much love from Eurofans since Undo in 2014.
Loool it'll likely win
So this is basically the same voice as Lady Gaga with "Shallow".... A real copy song, as is.
