He's evolved to his next form. Crono boost + upgrades = invincible Florencio. He was playing with a purposeful handicap before.

Florencio only gets upgrades if they're necessary to his strategy. In this case his strategy was to fight carriers with phoenixes, so he needed +1 weapons to deal damage through their armor.

They do bonus damage to interceptors, but really weak damage to carriers.
Carriers are not good in PVP... Phoenix, Voids, and Tempests all counter them. Not sure what Rotti was thinking. I still doubt that was Rotti. Good game though :)

I think Rotterdam should train with Flo sometimes. I bet they get a long great and Rotti evidently could learn some things about cannon rushes and phoenix and carriers:) He could have so easily won this game if he just didn't flip the frack out and let Flo bait his carriers.

I happen to be in a mass Phoenix vs mass Carrier once. It was when the interceptor upgrade is still there. Both of us have very large bank and the map almost mined out. My opponent do a sudden tech switch into mass Phoenix vs my Carrier, Tempest, Archon and beat me head on. He seems to separate them in 2 control group and one shot 2 ships at a times then camp my production and ignore the Archon (I have too few of them). From that moment onwards, I know that mass Phoenix beat mass Carrier...

I cannot remember the last time I saw a game where carriers won anything. They are slow, expensive, slow to build interceptors, no longer can launch all interceptors at once, interceptors die with the carrier that built them and over time they cost even more minerals to be combat effective as interceptors need to be replenished.
Carriers alone are usually bad yes. But with archon or void support, they can be decent against certain comps
Intercepters should be free. Its so lame it costs minerals everytime you engage, makes them useless for late game. And zerg got trillions of free units.
From a zerg player. Make carriers viable again pls

I believe Mr.Flo uses map hacks. After 1st recall, he instantly turns to catch 2 couriers? I think not.
The two carriers that he knew was there, because they were just split up and he saw they were killing his bases 10 sec earlier? Yea ofc he couldnt know they were out there

Like I said in the stream its not Rotterdam. Rotterdam has a Pacman acc in EU which is much higher without the clan tag. This was a diamond pacman player in NA as I did some research on "rankedftw" as ppl didnt think it was Rotterdam. Still a good game
This was in EU, I don't know people's alt accounts. I hardly play NA server.

He actually isn't bad. Florencio just has that effect on ppl, they lose their shit when they play him
