I woke up early to go to practice one morning when I got a call from my dad saying that our ranch just up the road was not an available route for school that day and when I asked why, he said that someone reported a dead body on our ranch near the open road. All in all, there was a man who was murdered and at the end of the day they just dumped his body on our ranch. It was a man and a woman who had done the crime, it was an older man and a young 20 something old woman. Don’t know the motive but I’d assume it was like the woman wanted out of a relationship or something but idk. Sucks but it is what it is. Ranch has some stories now so I can set up a camp fire and tell kids stories or some bullshit. Anyway yeah stay safe y’all

I grew up in the hood in a shitty little duplex. After the sun went down it was a no go at all times. Walking around you couldn't be alone at all. Don't talk to nobody and if you hear gunshots, hunker down and grab your own weapon. Don't do anything unless someone tries to break in. Getting woken up at 3 am to a gang fight which lead to bullets hitting your car or you get people ramming into each other for drug money. I know that feeling well. Hope that neighbor is gone!

as a guy with at least some level of PTSD (not officially diagnosed) id like to say this is why i always look out of the window before going outside. you should always be aware of what you are stepping out into before just blindly going outside. i was doing this as a kid before even understanding what trauma or PTSD was, and for example watching my uncle who has actively tried to kill me and my family several times drive by my house (which was way out of the way to anywhere he went) at night with his headlights off at the exact moment that i was about to walk outside knowing had i just walked out the door he most likely would have shot at me again and might have actually hit me that time is just reaffirmation to just look first. even if you dont really have "trauma" to draw from still just do it to be safe and aware.
@@lilyriley1673 thanks you. hes dead now so it doesnt matter anymore, but since my family is from a lower class of people and for the most part sadly crime usually goes unpunished whether it is done to us or by us. i had a situation with my brother several years ago where my life was threatened. among other things he threatened to kill me with my own firearm, so i called the cops and all that happened was the judge legit laughed in my face for calling the cops instead of "doing something about it myself." he was only in jail for a couple days because my own parents forced me to drop the charges. i just turned 34 and this has been basically my life story. just a few months ago i had two of my vehicles stolen along with several other items that i calculated to be valued around $8000. all of the automotive related items were taken to a junkyard and one of my vehicles was crushed and the other was sold. i never received any of my "recovered" stolen property nor have i been reimbursed any amount of money to cover the loss. i dont even think that the cops charged the thieves with grand theft or anything, the cops never actually informed me like they said they would.
Once there was this woman behind my mum's car. We had one-way flyscreen so we knew she was there but she didn't. Turns out she was homeless and wanted to sleep out of the harsh winds.
