What’s insane to me is how people have given them so much crap for the three English pop songs, especially fans of other kpop groups when a lot of them know like y’all said, that they were trendsetters for talking about real shit when that wasn’t a thing at that time. I think that’s why seo taiji likes them so much, they were a big part of reviving those heavy messages in kpop that he was talking about back in the day. Love them and love y’all💜💜💜

This was ok but A Guide to The Bangtan 7 by Taylor Nakomoto is the perfect guide.
I just know that this 10th years Anniversary Festa will be really emotional...I am still amazed that are 10 years of fails, triumphs, blood, sweat and tears literally....the guys have come through a lot and so do the fandom, even Jin and J-Hope left us pre recorded material before they enter to M.S, thank you guys for the reaction...was also unexpected to me 😄💜

One thing I'd like to touch on is the Beatles. As much as Suga/BTS understandably tried to distance themselves away from the Beatles, because of said pressure, it is still very much common sense, logical, organic & a no-brainer to compare them, simply because of the huge widely publicized tangential & phenomenal rise that both had. That is "rise" as in "viral", the common term these days, although Covid had partly made that term a little less potent as it once was, heh. The screaming crying gigantic fandom size similarities has a lot to do with that. As we fans already know, BTS even did a Beatles spoof on Colbert. Even Paul McCartney himself mentioned the comparison on a talk show once. And of course, even I instantly made that connection myself years ago when I first heard of BTS, because I was a Beatles fan first. I have kept all the Beatles vinyl albums that my Dad purchased. RIP Dad. Of course, it's not a 100% comparison across the board, but there are indeed a few parallels between Beatles & BTS, deep & superficial, with the aforementioned global rise as probably one of the primary similarities. One funny similarity that I instantly made was their haircuts. The Beatles' moptop is exactly the same as BTS' Asian bowlcut, which even though it is superficial, it is still uncanny. Just like BTS, the Beatles were sometimes also goofy & disorderly off stage or at interviews. The Beatles were also hated on, but usually by older generations who still did not like raucous rock & roll, as well as the style of their aforementioned hair & the counter-culture beatnik & hippie culture that the boys were associated with a lot. In fact, it is rumored that John Lennon may have changed their band name initially from Beetles to Beatles, partly because of the beatnik term that started in the 1950's. However, one probably difference was that the Beatles were famous for using "psychedelics", but that is also understandable because of the times & environments they were in. Perhaps J-Hope may have touched on that with "Mama", heh. I had also made up my own wordplay years ago that showcases that is it very highly possible & plausible that these 2 bands, nearly now 6 decades apart, were indeed fated & destined to have been compared to, maybe even by divine providence ... Beatles + BTS = B e a T l e S (note the eerie symmetry of the letters).
Whatever the case, there will come a day when another artist will similarly rise as these 2 bands did. But for now, we celebrate these 2, in our lifespan & lifetime.
That' s what BTS does makes club bangers that mean something else totally🤣🤣..... bcuz not Army bussin down to pied piper when BTS telling us to go to our jobs and school and stop obsessing over them........ KING behaviour 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

To the person with the "can't say females" comment. You are right. YOU can't say it. For example: "These females...". Which is in addition to everything else wrong with it, grammatically incorrect. It is used as degrading language towards women. I don't appreciate the person who made the introduction video using the terms female and male when describing the concert participants because it's very exclusive language. But I guess I somewhat understand it in a statistic. Also the difference is that there wasn't a negative connotation to what the creator said unlike when men use the word.
I urge you to watch BTS vs Radio….it will explain why you don’t hear them on radio..💜

Originally, I did not take into consideration Korean historical,cultural and legal factors which continue to shape BTS. These documentaries lead me to do a little research.
While many ARMY say BTS is not KPop, BTS nembers themselves say they are. As recently as this year, Suga said he loves KPop. I believe that they do not see KPop as a music genre but as the Korean creative process that combines music, dance, wardrobe, & MVs.
In my opinion, the Korean Idol system's expectations on how the idols conduct their private lives is in some way excessively restrictive but conversely, it may be responsible for giving the guys the time to develop their art. I was looking at sime celebrity news recently and there was a story about Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabella. It dawned in me that back a few years ago, they were regulars in the headlines. I may know 1 or 2 songs of theirs but I know a bunch about their dating life. I think Western Artists are expected to have an active dating life, party life for us to consume. This may impact their growth as artist
If you recall in Anerican Hustle Life, Warren G asked them when they last spent time with their family. They all said it was about 2 yrs. V said in another interview, his folks would travel 12hrs to see him for an hour. I believe that this changed sometime around 2018.
Lastly, the Run, In the Soop and Bon Voyages are so much fun. The games they play...do you think any Western Artists would do that? I do think that Post Military BTS will be different...their age and experiences will change them. I hope ARMY embraces that change.
