don't let others fool you that only one member is successful. ALL of the members are very successful with their solo careers, breaking records back and forth and we are very proud of each of them! ARMYs love all 7 so much and the members always reminds us to love all of them too and it's not even hard to do it when they're all so easy to love.

Small clarification for Jungkook’s section, they were referring to 15 in Korean age, Jungkook joined them as a trainee at THIRTEEN, he debuted a few months before his 16th birthday. When he says they raised him he’s not even slightly kidding, they used to make his lunches and drive him to school. The members are his safe place and have guided him for half his life now, they very openly adore him and would let him get away with murder. For most people who become famous that young, it would be so easy to let it all go to your head, but with the members support he’s stayed grounded, empathetic and giving, never taking what he has for granted. It’s funny, a lot of outsiders see him as a bad boy because of his aesthetic with the tattoos, piercings, muscles and the way he dresses, but he’s the worlds biggest softie, a total sweetheart and forever his hyung’s baby.

Jin just got out of the military on June 11th and on June 13th he held an event for ARMY and actually hugged 1000 ARMYs to thank us for our support while they’re all away in the military. He then put on an hour live performance that was also livestreamed around the world for all of us. Every member of BTS is so hardworking and multitalented. They truly are one of a kind and I’m grateful I discovered them because they’ve truly changed my life for the better

Jin once said that if it hadn't been for BTS, he probably wouldn't have been challenged in such a way to develop so many aspects of himself. These guys worked hard, and what makes them so unusual is that every single one of them are superstars. Most groups only have one or two standouts. BTS had seven of them.

Hello, I'm a 47-year-old Brazilian ARMY. Thank you for your reactions to our boys! I must tell you that it is very common to hear reports of people describing how they “found” BTS in their lives, how important it was, how much they needed them and everything they represented, even when these people didn't even know they needed them. I am part of that large group of fans who discovered support, help or support in some way through their music, messages, struggles and achievements. I was widowed after a relationship of almost 23 years and I was going through a depressive process. We didn't have children and my husband represented everything to me. I can't talk about important moments in my life in which he wasn't a part and his absence left a huge void. I found myself completely lost and disoriented, as if the best part of me had also died with him. By chance, to "distract" me, my mother (who was already a fan) showed me a performance from one of BTS's shows. I don't know how to explain it exactly, but all that energy touched me deeply. From that moment on, every time I listened to his music or watched his videos, I somehow connected and identified with his messages. BTS became a kind of model of optimism for me, giving me strength and love. I believe that the group's fighting trajectory contributed profoundly to their growth, the construction of what they are today and the special connection they have with their ARMYs. These boys are not perfect, just like all human beings, nor do they pretend to be. But they are extremely talented and determined human beings, who give us examples every day of humility, charity, attention, dedication and love for others. True angels on Earth who inspire and encourage us to overcome our struggles, moving forward with gratitude and empathy. They give us much more than just music or entertainment. They share their lives with fans in the most diverse situations, not only in happy moments, but also in sad or vulnerable moments, allowing us to easily identify and relate to them. That's why I celebrate your achievements and share your joys and sadness.
I am very grateful to God for putting these boys in my path at the worst moment of my life. It was like the flame of a candle burning in the darkness. For a long time I didn't feel like smiling and when I did it was only to please those who love me (my family or friends). However, when I see them my smile comes easily, without effort and almost without realizing it. It may seem exaggerated and incomprehensible to many people, but they subtly "touched" my heart. To this day, I have extreme difficulty sleeping, even when I'm on medication. At first, I stayed awake for 3 whole days and now I sleep listening to your music. Over time, we become convinced that everything is not over and we seek the strength to move forward. It's still difficult, a daily challenge, but I feel better every time I see them. And in the process they became my daily dose of joy and encouragement. Sorry for the long comment. I will follow your journey with BTS. And get ready because we will have the opportunity to laugh a lot and maybe even cry. But we will be together.

Jungkook was 15 Korean age when be joined, but that meant he was actually 13-14 years old when he joined, since Korean age is different.
Yes, whenever JK says he was 15, he was actually 13 (before turning 14 in September). For Korean age at the time, you are automatically considered 1 years old when you’re born and considered 2 years old on January 1st (even though it’s not your actual birthday yet). When V was born Dec 30, he was 1. Two days later, in Jan 1, he was 2 years old, but he was technically only 2 days old 😆 So whenever the guys mention their age while speaking in Korean, it’s the Korean age and not the international/global age that wwe all go by. So just minus 1-2 years whenever they mentioned their age. Korea finally change how age is counted last year in June, so they go by global age now. But most content you see from BTS, they refer to their Korean age.
Are you referring to the age he was when he became a trainee or the age he was when BTS debuted. Because he was 15 (international age)when BTS debuted. You just easily do the math on this. BTS debuted in 2013, he was born in 1997, making him 15 almost 16 in 2013 when they debuted.

BTS are family, they are all 7 members and as Army, we choose to love and support all 7 of them. Each member brings something unique to the BTS family that makes them irreplaceable. They are not only a group unit but a family unit and BTS does a wonderful job of acknowledging each others’ strengths and helping when needed. They accept one another wholeheartedly. BTS reminds us what can be achieved if people could accept and love one another for who they are.

I'm glad that you guys reacted to this, I feel like a big part of BTS is just how great a team they are, their characters and the respect they have for eachother and for ARMY the way they work together so well as a team - they went through such hard times together coming up that they are basically brothers now. And ARMY coming up with them through all that sh#% has really bonded us together as artists and fans, but also within the team too. It's a crazy mix of talents and skills too, like I feel like Jin's humour and people skills, RM's songwriting and lyricism and leadership gravitas, J-Hope's sense of rhythm and dance performance skills, Jimin's perceptiveness, caring, showmanship and unique vocal tone and dance skills, Suga's incredible passion, emotion, and production skills, JK's vocals and talent for picking up skills immediately, Taehyung's unique perspective, charisma and artistry and vocal tone. It's a CRAZY mix. Like any of these guys would be standouts in any group and they are all in ONE group. What else astonishes me is that they basically have to have the fitness of elite athletes to perform at the level they do. For us ARMY they are basically like, our family +elite athletes +artists + comedians/entertainers

Jung Kook was 13 years old when he became a trainee. He came to Seoul on April 24, 2011. Age in Korea is calculated considering pregnancy as the period of life. Therefore, in Global age JK was 13 years old and in Korean age he was 14. Jin took him to and from school every day.

Jin was discharged from the Korean Army in June. The remaining 6 members are currently serving. Lots of new music, solo projects, and awards since 2021. Everyone is looking forward to their return in 2025. Borahae 💜✌️

It's amazing how each of them made one decision to trust BigHit and became a worldwide sensation and a blessing to millions of people, with all their hard work.

Next to RM, Jimin academically stands out. He's been class president for many years in school and very good in Math classes. He earned a dance scholarship to go to another country. His teacher recommended for him to audition wih BigHit. He and V are best friends. He is also very loving, affectionate and nurturing. He had the least amount of training. His vocals are so diverse, its crazy amazing....the angelic voice always gets me.
This! It pains me how Jimin's academic excellence is almost never properly mentioned when introducing the members. Even in the military, he advanced to his current high-level position partially due to his intelligence (they had to take a test). 😊

But the maker clearly tried to make the sections the same length, only two are under 5mins (Joon and Hobi), and only one is over 6mins (JK). But yeah, I would maybe examine my inner biases if your perception of reality doesn't match actual reality.
A lot of Kpop leaders are the leaders because they are the oldest of the group. In BTS' case RM is the middle of the age range. And the fact that the older members respect him as their leader also speaks much to their level of respect to RM in general. I don't know if there has ever been an official statement as to why RM was chosen as the leader, but it may have a lot to do with him being the first member of the group, and the group basically being formed around Bang Sihyuk's early impressions of RM's writing ability and maturity and how that aligned with his wanting to form a group that shared their genuine experiences of life.

Just to clarify it was his song but the final song that we have right now has been changed in terms of lyrics and stuff, he asked Suga and RM to write them (and ended up choosing Suga's lyrics) and also each rapper added his own verse to it..they talked about this in the BE interviews....

Be careful with listening to the delulu solo stans, putting members above the others, telling you to support only certain members etc. ARMYs don't support that behavior, BTS don't care about their existence (mentioning that either you support 7 of them or GTFO). Solo stans are immature jerks who are deluding themselves into thinking that there's a lot of them because they are loud trolls. There's no "fan favorite", even if most of us relate more to the certain members than others, we support all of them.
Also, remember that this video was made before their "non-hiatus" and their solo endeavors. What you see here is what they were doing on the side. JK is amazingly popular, true, but he's not the only one popular outside of Korea.

There's always a similar percentage of delulus, but the number of them will be vastly different for a fandom of a million people and 70 million. I don't even consider delulus to be ARMY. Plus, people who actually pay for the membership are still generally normal and wholesome. If you go to Weverse, it's a creepfest but when you'll go in the paywalled ARMY membership content or talk with ARMYs while watching monetized live concerts online, it's all back to normal and the conversations are lovely and wholesome. Those who actually spend their money on BTS generally know why they are there. I know that not everyone can afford that, but if you aren't in a tough financial situation then I would consider buying an actual membership. You'll realize how many of those trolls are just a background noise.
Suga is someone I personally respect alot. His music pulled me out from a very dark space. At first I too didn't notice him much but when I found his solo stuff he hit home. Everytime I see him or listen to his music I'm always so grateful. He's the reason why my world didn't end when I was a teenager
If you get to know RM and his personality you will understand why he was chosen as the leader. He is so classy, intelligent, personable and talented. He is highly respected and loved.

Jungkook definitely wanted to be a more global pop star (along with Jimin) as opposed to the others.
Each member has a huge bias base (bias is what we say instead of "favorite") and each base behaves differently.
You're more likely to see extreme fan behavior from fans of Jimin, V, and Jungkook. the fans of the other members are a built a little different and tend to be a little less... exuberant, if you know what I mean.
That said, JK is definitely killing it in the west with his Golden album and collabs, and Jimin just dropped an album that is SO fun.
(V is my bias for what it's worth, and Suga is my bias wrecker.)
