Surprised by how good this review is. Precisely the part where she mentions that this could've been the perfect laptop if it had a 7735/36U or 7740u processor, which is the exact same thing I've been saying for the past two weeks. I thought the igpu was worse though, seems to be competing well with 1255u iris xe, should be outclassed by the 1260p model but don't know by how much. Also, Keep up the good work.
Fantastic review. I was about to buy this until your deep dive on the processors. So well explained. I keep my laptop for at least 5-7 years so if it's underpowered in 2023 it will really be struggling in a few years. Great job!
This review is great. I can't stop thinking about the fact that you're actually getting a rebranded CPU though. I was about to buy this but now I'm not sure
Great review to make an informed decision! I especially love how you covered the rebranding, I wish more reviewers talked about it. Having such a bubbly yet professionally intelligent personality is just the cherry on the top
can you please review Asus Expertbook with i7 12Gen P series 32GB Ram 256SSD+1TB HDD At Rs.105000 available in Daraz now a days. Is that laptop worthit for office work and lots of Excel Data and database MSSQL?
Thanks a lot for this review. I have ordered this laptop. Whether the processors are rebranded or not doesn't really matter to me. It was only important that it is an AMD processor and not an Intel. Intel processors usually get hotter, have to be cooled louder and above all, consume more power than AMD processors. I deliberately decided against an OLED screen because, firstly they are reflective and secondly they also consume more power. The last two points are important to me for mobile devices. The only thing I miss in your test is the size of the battery.
I was a lot confused about this series and similar laptops and havae surfed the web and youtube for almost a full day. During this period your video did popup but I didnt click on as you werent a familiar face and boy I was wrong. All the info I gathered in a day was just so beautifully consended by you in just 10mins specially this mess with naming scheme. Great work.
Thank you for catching this, so that we know that AMD and Asus is playing games with processor names, it's so helpful to have reviewers pay attention to the performance and facts, much obliged. I have subscribed!!
Hello, can you help me choose the best laptop for my studies? I was considering the Asus ZenBook 14x with an OLED display, but I've heard that OLED screens can suffer from burn-in over time. Is there a significant difference between OLED and other displays like IPS? I'm a bit worried about this. Can you suggest the best laptop for me under a 70k price range? It's a hard decision for me, and I'm trusting you to help me with this... Please reply
I kinda like what amd is doing, let me explain, despite their confusing multi gen cpus falling under the same series, at least if I am not up to date with cpu world, I can see which laptops belong to which year, because the laptops are a sum of their parts, speakers, screen, I don’t mind a rebranded cpu. My gripe is I want to immediately find out which nm the chip is from, that’s not clear in amd naming scheme.
@@Galaxya55user every i7, especially the 12th generation, heats up and is terribly noisy in the zenbook of an asus laptop.. I sold a zenbook with an i7 12th generation, the battery is terrible I won't talk about the noise and heating, it's even worse
Asus really disappointed me. The problem is the nic card . It fails after running at up to 100 meg to download data . The router saysconnected but the machine times out created headaches ou don't want to know. I took it back to see if it was me or something else . The tech just happened to have experience with this nic card in a gaming laptop. He got rid of it. He upgraded the firmware and reset the bios but still craps out. Wasted an immense amount of time as my apps are music production like biab etc. Taking it back. Will not buy another asus.
Ma'am GadgetByte with all due respect, you don't buy this laptop for 90Hz display, or for a better cpu. This is a mobility laptop which does its duty great. You are also not reviewing the data correctly with regard to the recent lineup. The later cpu variants target higher sustained performance at the cost of worse battery life. We can see this from the 7730u variant of 5825u running worse at idle. Hence, 7045u will still offer worse battery life since the efficency target will still be carried out by the first zen 3 generation cpus. I find no space for 7045u cpus really if they don't target the same 15w tdp space. Luckily, AMD has made noticing this notion very easy due to the necessary incrementally higher power budget increases every generation and thus, Zenbook 14 2022 is here to stay as a benchmark for a long time to come.
You don't get to tell why he/she is buing this laptop. it's your own opinion. There is nothing in 'mobility' laptop that says refresh rate doesn't matter for the user etc. Your whole post is gibberish.
finally someone addressed ryzen 7000 naming scheme. i am asking in all channels reviews to address this. thanks a lot

Just buy a Macbook Air at this price point if you don't need specific windows software like engineers. You will not be regret..
