Police force in the UK needs more people to join but their written test/assessment is NOT realistic in any shape or form! In the real world, police officers are not being timed when they ask questions of the public. And if they miss something, they will ask you to repeat the sentence. I failed the first written section as I did exactly what Brendan said, I spent too much time going through the evidence and lost track of time. You can imagine the horror I felt when I heard the words ‘You have 5 minutes left’, I hadn’t even started to write my statement. Next part was a lot easier but I was gutted about the first bit as I knew I had cocked up big time.
I have recently passed my search assessment, I have a written examination soon before my final interview. Is the written exercise, I have to do next similar to the written test within the Search exam? how does it differ and how can I revise for it?

@@mrpatty29 I am with GMP. AC, interview and bleep test are 3 separate days. Prep wise, honestly read the literature you get sent. The smallest detail such as number of car park spaces and locations at the shopping centre. Take it all in but don't get hung up on a specific area, it's all relevant. Additionally, look and conflict management on RUclips. Strategies and methods. The STAR model was most helpful in my interview.
