Ok not all scientific but a real world test on different gauge wires from 18-2 with different type cutters snips and shears. This little guy does the trick for what it's intended for. Very light weight. Nice clip included in price and great ergonomics. Love my Knipex tools. Serve my well in the most difficult conditions including working live with properly rated tools of course.
