So!! Thats where all the good cactus went!!! Down to Texas!!! We have had a shortage of big nice cactus here in the Ozarks!! Thanks for sharing!!! From Morris Park in the Ozarks, have a wonderful weekend ahead!!! Peace, Love, Plants!!!✌💖🌵🌺🌿🌻🪴🌹🌲🏵🌳🌷🌴😃👍
Hi Forsythia, Thanks for the tour - the plants look great, specially the blue agaves. We're in for a lot of frost this week. I don't envy you the weather; I don't like the summer, we get what you're having now. 🔥🥵🔥
Yay. Another shopping video showing my old haunts in DFW. This weekend we have the Oregon Cactus and Succulent Society show and sale here in Portland and I'm excited! It is currently 64F right now. I definitely don't miss those DFW summers. lol
So hot there😅I understand. We had three weeks of 100℃ sunshine, and now it's gone into a wet few weeks. Today is 78℃ and 95% humidity🥵I can't tell you which is better. I enjoyed the plant nurseries tour🙌🌟I notice the hedgehog cactus is planted in desert soil, but all others are in a peaty mix. Does the peaty soil work fine? or when you buy a cactus do you repot it into a stoney sandy mix? That's my big question today😊Those nurseries over there in Texas have great looking cacti🥰
They are both equally miserable Newman🔥Happy you enjoyed the tour and plants😀So, the Hedgehog cacti in desert soil are out of West Texas. It’s not typical to see plants around here in desert dirt most are in improper soil lol. I ALWAYS repot cacti that I from big box stores and local nurseries. When I buy cactus and succulents in places like CA, AZ or CSSA plant sales they are typically in a gritty mix.
Hi Forsythia! Enjoyed looking at the plants! I was recently looking around at Lowe's and noticed no violets! Never fear, lol,I'm propagating and yours is almost ready! I'm in N.Y. celebrating my Mom's 95 the birthday 🎁🎉💖! I brought her a violet plant I propagated too from home. I'll be in touch. 💚👍🌵!
Hi Ellen! Happy birthday to your mother my friend! 95?!? Wow, that’s amazing and such a blessing🤗 enjoy the celebration and your time in N.Y. Have a great day and weekend🤍
You should setup an online shop! Many of what you run across, isn't available to others. I'm in Hampton Roads, Virginia, and you definitely run across much more variety at your local garden centers.
Thanks again for filming your errands to share with us. Always envious of your local cactus and succulent selections! 😬 The Euphorbia flanaganiis were beautiful! 😊 Connie found a good deal on 8” & 11” clay pots at The Home Depot. I know you generally use white containers indoors, but thought you might consider these $5 clay pots for your garden, as they match the landscaping better. Here’s her vlog: ruclips.net/video/rWrueN8smDI/видео.html if you’re interested. 😁 I picked up a couple for my tall Sansevierias and love them. Hot and humid here, too, with heat index around 105 degrees for the next week. 🥵🌶🤬😁 Enjoy your weekend! 😸✌️
Hi Christian! You’re more than welcome. I appreciate you watching my adventures. Thanks for the tip on the clay pots. I love a great deal. I will put earth tones in my outdoor garden, so I will definitely check out Connie’s video. I hope you’re having an amazing day and wonderful weekend🤍🌱🤗🍀🌿🌺🌸💐
Here in Central California, ave over 100 degrees, our Home Depot plants are not as nice as yours. I don't know how common the practice is but we have growers who glue plastic fluff balls to cactus, damaging them, and the workers over water. Shame. Lovin'your vids

Love that agave.

Hi Brandon! That is actually a project I’m working on😀 thanks so much for watching!
I’d be interesting in importing cacti and succulent plants from Texas, too. 🥰😸✌️

Wow prices have gone up.😮
Oh yes they have. Plant prices are sky high! Thanks for watching!
Texas honey...Texas. All my plants are wilting. You can water but they still melt in this heat.
Right Pamela! Fingers crossed we don't lose too many this Summer.
Why was that small agave Victoria reginae so expensive at $65...I ha
Have a 16 incher.
Hi Carol, No idea! Which is why I quickly put it down😅Thanks for watching!

Thanks for watching Steve! The same thing happens in the Texas Home Depots and other big box stores. Hate it! So unnecessary!
Poor plant babies! Lava hot temps. NO FUN.
Right! Thanks for watching Mair🤗
