Thank you this video is useful especially since I never used gel polishes since I wasn't sure how to remove the polish
Thanks for this useful video...
Thank you that helped so much!!! And it was quick
We are glad it was helpful!
Where do you get that nail polish colour? It looks beautiful!
What kind of drill bit do you use. I have a bunch of different ones but none of them seem strong enough to successfully drill off the first layer
What color do you have on your nails? Love that color..
Fast and easy!!!💖💅
At the salon where I've gotten my nails done they use a tray with individual sections for each finger which is filled with pure acetone. This tray sits in a little bowl of hot water and it takes about 8 minutes to soak off the color.
Can you write please the percentage of the acetone? And is it easy to buy?
Thank you
Is there a way to remove the gel polish without removing the dip powder? Basically, I just want to change my polish color but the dip is fresh.
Thank you for sharing this easy way to remove the nails but I was wondering what would be best if we don't have an e-file
sarah tasse a good amount of acetone and after you wrap all of your fingers up in foils. Put each hand in a plastic bag tide it up and the heat from the foil with the acetone will create condensation (which melt the product off faster) and it should take no longer than 10 min. Trust me i have a salon and we do this to make it quicker on clients that doesn’t like to use an e-file.
Very helpful
What’s faster - acetone or e-fill to remove?
You make this look so easy and not time consuming. I tried this. It was a good hour and I had to file of a lot of it. Any tips as to how you make it seem fast and easy?
Lots of practice! Our nail techs have been doing this for years so they're pretty fast at it. 💕
The acetone that you use is a regular acetone? Or do you have to use gel remover acetone? Thanks. @kiarasky
We use just regular pure acetone. 💕
Can you use an e-file to completely remove it? As I HATE using acetone to remove.
Ciao, posso sapere che tipo di acetone hai usato? Grazie...
I have long natural nails and it took me an hour to get it off even when filing the topcoat off. Do I need a drill?
Hi TheKrista5, you do not need a drill to do dip powder or to remove it. You can use just a regular file, it is a little more time consuming but it will work. The key is to get off the top coat and the layers of seal protect, then soak. Also, make sure you are using pure acetone to soak off in.
If you don’t have a drill, just use stick nail file then get a big chunk of cottons with a bit more acetone than usual then wrap them with foil. Wait for 15 mins.
I do exactly what's showed & after 25/30 mins of letting the acetone sit on my nail it's still gooey, difficult to come off & I end up having to scrape it off & filing it. It ends up taking so long just removing it. What could I be doing wrong?
Sianni young it looked like there was still acrylic on the nail and the color portion only came off?? I have the same problem as you I end up just drilling it off
VENNILOVE Thanks I'm glad I wasn't the only one experiencing this. It sucks that I'll have to drill it off. The main reason I loved this stuff was that I didn't have to use a drill so close to my natural nail. They can't really get stronger if they have to be drilled every 2/3 weeks.
Try polygel or a soak off builder gel. They are strong like acrylic. I use all 3 and switch off. They all have pros and cons.
Hi ladies, make sure that you are filing away the top coat first then apply the acetone, and make sure to that you are using pure acetone. If it's just nail polish remover it won't really work at all. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
Kiara Sky Nails I do actually file off more than the first layer due to the problem I've had, ive also made sure to use pure acetone. I don't think the brand should matter much but I've tried a few different ones.
It is never that easy!!! Hahaha
Hi Babe! Our major tip is if you make sure to really file down that top coat layer, it will come off way easier than you think☺️
Regan Hulvey If you soak them long enough, it is! 😉👍
I was removing dip powder enhancements this way everytime, (as that is how i was trained) whether infill or not, until i saw your last video on INFILLS. Is the Kiara sky principle, soak off only when necessary? Thankyou. Leah
Leah Calabro I wonder the same. When I go to the shop they soak it off even if I get the same color. I thought it was silly but maybe they're wrong.
Sianni young I was so happy to see this tutorial, because i felt repeated soak off and buffing only makes the nail thinner no matter how good the product is. It also saves the nail tech alot of time!!!
Can you mix loose glitter in with the dip powders?
LovelyKay I have. I have also added pigments to change up the color.
VENNILOVE Thank You So Much ❤️❤️
VENNILOVE Lol I'm new to the nail game pigments? I know what it means but how do you add them to colors?
Yes, I would just recommend using the dipping powders, and dry it, then add another coat, sprinkle the loose glitter on, add another coat and dry. I’m sure it would give you more sparkle.
what kind of drill are you using? nice video!
Hi Kali - Just a generic drill. You can get one from your local pro nail supply store. :)
Your right it’s a nice video
30 mins later I'm still trying to take this off! Not as easy as the video implies. It was easier taking off my polygel nails
I had trouble too. Took a long time for me that I’m letting my nails breathe a bit before doing my first dip set.
Is there a way to peal that off without using acetone? Or this is the only way?
You could apply something like a nail guard or a peal-able base, but otherwise, that's there's not really a way without acetone. 💕
@@KiaraSkyNails Sounds good. Thanks for your response :)
Now I’ve worked n salons where they remove dip then apply new set now do u have to do that or can I just prep n do another color on top this is on naturalnails
Hi Babe! If you want to do a Nail Fill, you can watch this video on how to do it with Dip Powder ☺️ ruclips.net/video/B1nWfORzzJ8/видео.html&index=11&list=PLuwSI6D7DhYiHcRTUk76s3CnDBO7XBitO

I’m obsessed with the nails on the person taking off the nails I want to get my nails done like that but I cannot find a picture
Look at @krista_la_creme 's instagram! I believe she was the nail tech for this video and she has a lot of pictures with this shape/style!
You could just screen shot the video
That definitely wasn’t a dipped nail. They probably just pulled off a press-on at the end 🧐
It was all a Dipped nail, no press-on👍🏼
@atls_royalty_nailz
This is bs. Took me all day to get this shit off my nails. And it didn't wipe off. I had to scrape it off and rhat was after soaking them for hours.
Hi Allison, we are sorry to hear that! If you have a plastic artificial tip, that may delay soak off time. Also, did you file off the top coat? If you don't it will take twice as long to soak up the acetone.
Kiara Sky Nails i did file off the shine. Took forever to get it off :(
Ouuuuuuu
I wanna win the giveaway @pretty_nails494
LIES. ITS NOT THIS EASY!
If you file down enough it is!👍🏼 Make sure you get down to the Clear dip and the acetone will take care of the rest!
Sorry, but it doesn’t come off that easily.
