I made this today for meal prepped lunch this week and took a nap while I waited for it to cool down so I can store. When I woke up it was nearly all gone. MY ENTIRE FAMILY LOVED IT! I wasn't even mad because it was super easy and extremely inexpensive to make. Thank you both! Y'all are awesome!
What I love, love, LOVE! about most meal recipes (this RUclipsr and others) is that I will spend $10-15 on food for the entire work week while my co-workers shell out $8 to $12 dollars a DAY for their lunches, then complain about how broke they are.
Fantastic Job Guys. I was fit, healthy and gym active till 2 years ago I injured my back.. 2 back opps and lots of hospital appointments I'm still dealing with the problem. I let myself go into a bit of a downer, stopped eating healthy as I could workout or play golf, tennis, run, cycle.. etc. I started therapy for my depression, it has helped a lot.. one thing I've always loved is cooking, but lost the love for that too as meal prep was always an issue because of all the Muscle Macho Man Videos that are out there I hate. I found your videos and Simple, Happy, Easy everyday food, they have helped me a lot. Food makes me happy, so thank you!

Hey, I really like your videos, always always to get easy, cheap and healthy meal prep. If I can recommend something is to use a wet/humid dishcloth under the cutting board instead of a paper towel so you can reuse it and throw it away everything. This helps to cut down on waste. Keep making video!

Hey I made this it is delicious! But it was kinda dry so I topped it off with a little bit of curry on each of my meal boxes thank you! I also added broccoli asparagus and bell peppers just to make it healthier :)
Wow you guys finally started to cook Chinese food! I really love your channel and the videos inspired me a lot with different kinds of options. As a Chinese, I love cooking and I cook different food everyday and each with 3 meals (like mini meal preps). I would say, there are also a tons of options in Chinese cuisine, not necessarily the traditionally ones, but just Chinese style. By the way, I would cook chicken first, or at least before eggs cuz eggs are easy to be overcooked. By they way, there is another way of cooking Dan Chao Fan (egg stir fry rice): mix the egg yolk with rice frist, stir fry the egg white with other stuffs and then add in the "yellow rice". We call it Golden egg stir fry rice because of it color. Thank you so much for this fantastic channel!

So i used arrow root for the first time this weekend. I was shocked to learn that in one cup there is only 16 carbs compared to 95 carbs in regular flour. I only needed 2 tblspns so only 2 carbs. Because of your channel i knew about this awesome product.

I just made this with brown rice cuz that's what I have and I didn't have olive oil so I use a little bit system in oil and I have regular soy sauce it still tastes delicious thank you for the recipe
Wahoo, measures in grams :D Cheers from AUST. btw, when making fried rice, its best to cook the rice the night before and leave it in the fridge without a lid or covering so as to partly dry out the rice as it gives a much better texture.

How about quit arguing about how it should be cooked. These guys are the chefs. I have cooked this one and have followed their video, and their food turns out awesome. I have also cooked fried rice in a wok following other recipes and the egg never gets cooked first.

The best way to make fried rice is to let the rice sit for a day, which is why I never eat fried rice at a Chinese resturant, It's usually left over rice that wasn't used from the night before or maybe longer. If you have to go to a Chinese take out, remember to order white rice since that's usually the rice made that day.
Please start including sodium counts for your meals also!! I have CHF and need to monitor my sodium closely - but are starting to meal prep and love your channel!

Hey everyone! Barely starting to watch what I eat and track everything. I was wondering what would be the best (most effective in results) carbs/protein/fat ratio diet I should follow? In terms on total intake per day in percentage example : 40//40//20. Just throwing random numbers lol. Thanks in advance!

Great looking dish and I truly love the outtakes at the end. It's hard to get in sync when your hubby is Down Under and you're in the USA. It's worse than Jet Lag. LOL

Do you have any meal prep ideas that dont need to be reheated? im in construction and only have access to a microwave to reheat, thats fine now and then but dont want to have to use it everyday. thank you
Hey GENE, well we eat our meal preps cold. BUT we are about to release a lunch box that can reheat your food !!! You will love it !! Stay tuned !! =)
Most of the meal prep meals taste very nice cold, reheating is really just a preference, it's not necessary as the food is cooked.
