Used to work at jersey mike's for 6 years. Had some good times but unfortunately the bad moments outnumbered the good. Now I work as a sterile processing technician.

I love making sandwiches. I've always had a dream to have a deli style sandwich shop that also had burgers and some great deli sides like Mac and cheese, cashew coleslaw, deviled egg macaroni salad, and potato salad, and of course some crispy fries. And maybe cheesecake and apple pie for desert. Yum.

@@JSmith-me1xf I prefer they sweep when it's slow vs putting debris into the air while cooking. Assuming they sweep when its slow. Also. This is Cali. They work one of the busiest stores in America

How do you get these frozen pieces of chiken prepared like that before cooking!!
Well you take chicken and grind it to a fine texture add couple teaspoons of water and seasonings. Set in fridge to marinate. Then if you take parchment paper and smear mixture on half the paper and fold the paper in half. After this then freeze. Now you've got your very own version of chicken pieces prepared that can be grilled for a philly or used in meal prep where ground chicken can be used.
@@LowercaseKevit’s not ground or processed chicken. The chicken and steak are thinly sliced like deli meat and frozen between deli paper. Don’t talk about things that you have no idea about. It’s embarrassing.

Question, do you guys ever run out of bacon? Because my local one did and I doubt they get as much as business as you due to there on a highway, employees look suspect I’m thinking they stole it? 😂
We have been running out of a few things of late but fortunately bacon has not been one of them.
They were probably too lazy to grill more bacon once they ran out.
Yes I kno yall tired of me asking bout tht red sauce lol but jus for clarification the red cherry relish is in tht bottle nxt to the grill along wit the mayo peppers onions n all tht right in the bck nxt to the grill?
Haha no worries, happy to clarify. The red sauce in the bottle is Buffalo sauce. The cherry pepper relish is in the metal bin next to the Mayo

The small amount of chicken and the 2 thin strips of bacon are laughable for a sandwich. But boy there's a ton of lettuce.
Tear the paper get your cheese laid bread on the grill onions and peppers meat goes on last bud

chicken hits the grill first cause it takes longer to cook silly goose
if you did it that way you'd be standing around waiting for the chicken to cook instead of maximizing your time so that you're finishing everything about the same time
Why is the cheese just laying on tha white board bare...contaminated... I hope the guy at the one i go to don't do this
the board is sanitized daily, and wiped down with a sanitizing rag after every sub

Man you're all over the place... politely. You could have dropped two buns and chx, then taken a break just grilling. Lettuce shouldn't be across the line after touching meat.

@@connorbaniak Serv Safe certified guy here, he doesn't need to change his gloves because he isn't touching the raw meat, or any food that is considered ready to eat.
