- In this VLOG post , Andrew and Thomas discuss the complexities of air travel as a full time power wheelchair user unable to walk or ambulate at all.
Andrew (who has muscular dystrophy) shows some video clips of his experiences flying with his family and carers. Being lifted onto and off the aeroplane seat and explaining how the wheelchair can get taken apart to be loaded onto the aeroplane.
The theme of the VLOG is around why suitable disabled toilets aren't available on aeroplanes for people like Andrew who need help with transfers (and therefore more space in a disabled toilet). The VLOG intro's are filmed in a disabled toilet.

This is terrific Andrew - your wonderful 'sidekick' really rounds out the entertainment and educational value. Thank you. Let's hope that with continuous discussion and awareness accessibility will be so much more than a box ticked! I've had good experiences too but found staff do not have adequate training or experience, and it is scary at times but I can't wait to keep travelling. PS weeing-in-cabin, while not ideal is surely an advantage of a penis no.234- just sayin' ;)

Are there airlines where you had problems or help with traveling with the electric wheelchair? I have seen that I need to fill a document with many details about battery, measurements, etc. This seems all very complicated.
Did they damage your chair at all? Cause some people are telling me I shouldn’t travel with my power chair
Had 18 flights and no real damage but I always travel with a spare controller just incase

I don't get this video. You are in a bathroom and talking about using a bathroom on an AIRPLANE, not an airplane, but your video is about taking a power chair on a plane? Confusing AF!
