Drums are the most captivating and powerful instruments in any live performance. The feeling is just so darn powerful. The amount of coordination it takes to use every limb on your body and make it work in unison is beyond incredible.
People call this overplaying? Come on you wouldn't understand until you learn the instrument. And it's a cover so he can do what he wants, make it his own
Well, if these additional fills and chops would fit the genre and song, maybe, but just maybe, people would appreciate rather than complaining about it. But the truth is, it sound like shit. Just some of the modt generic, all rounder fills you hesr in every catchy pop and rock song, nothing original, nothing muscially appealing, just generic overplaying and acting as if it was super hard and special.

I've listened to "Enter Sandman" dozens of times and couldn't detect a single flaw compared to the original tract. Keep at it, Cooper! Form your OWN band.
I can flip my stick just like you...except it’s a mad, violent attempt at catching as it crashed into my forehead and then pierces my neck...and I bleed out laying on top of my kit. The large tom suits the post stick flip fiasco with the most comfort.
That's some mighty fine bangin' on the cans! I watched it 3 consecutive times! 2 weeks later I'm back listening to this again. Sound quality is good on this vid. The snare is nasty!

To me, he does a great job playing, I wish I could play half as good as he does. But being as good as it is, I'm missing notes here and there, it just doesn't feel like the song to me. Don't get me wrong, it's quite a nice cover-jam-whatever you want to call it, but if it had someone else playing the guitars and bass with adequated tracks to this version, it would feel much better to me. I don't know, I feel like though it's a great playing example, it lacks some beats here and there.

I like to drum along to songs like this for friends and family, but when I plug in my headphones it cancels out any external music output, so all my family hears is basicly loud banging haha since they can't hear the music/song. If I run a y-jack then ONE person can hear what I'm playing along to. My question is then; how do I get it so I can hear from headphones/earbuds/wireless earbuds and then also create an output of the music through large speakers so that everyone in the room can hear the music without cancelling out the song playing? Kinda like at a concert or a type of "drum kareoke" if you will? like I see alot of drummers doing online? Any thoughts or suggestions or tips would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance guys.
Man, I don’t know how drummers can play a whole 3hrs concert… this guy is amazingly fit compare to my Jabba the Hutt’s stamina, yet he looks like he was about to faint any moment by the end of the song. Amazing!

Drummers flipping sticks is nothing new. Rock drummers in 80s do it all the time and they do real good. Mike portnoy does it all the time too.
