I like the message in this song. It's not slut shaming. If someone feels like they're being "slut shamed" it's called coming under conviction. It means what you're doing is wrong and you know it. You just get defensive and label them as the bad guys for making you feel bad about what you've done. And before you go all feminist on me, think about this. If a woman wrote a song about men falling all over her and she was annoyed by it and the song made men out to be these terrible human beings, you would have absolutely no problem with it. Stop with the double standards ladies. We men have a lot more respect for you than you realize. And I also realize that people have other opinions on the matter so if you're up for a MATURE conversation pleases share your thoughts :)

I just found it in 2021 and I can't stop listening to the album. Unconditional as well is spectacular.

His wife is gorgeous, and they seem so happy! Yesterday at warped he made a speech about how a lot of women don't have any self respect and don't keep in mind he's a married man before singing this song, I thought he was so right. He really cares about his wife so much, thats adorable :)
I like how when the line "I can feel her staring at me" comes up at 3:08 it sort of fits the image of the artwork character fading with the eyes still very visible like it's staring at you. Very cool, i got a chill.

I LOVE the ending climax of "Hello And Goodbye!" from The Haunted...because it seems that this song is a look at the woman FROM The Haunted, so that's really brilliant to include that reference and not just for the sake of lyrics but it's the same subject matter, Matty did it again

Memphis may fire is my favorite band. I have respect for real, music these days is shit, it has no meaning, or it stands for the wrong. The lyrics speak to me, save me from myself, and that's what I love most about them.. Their meaning.

That's the beauty of this song. It's very easy to figure out, it doesn't seem like it's that deep. But it hits deeper than most songs because of how true and straight-forward it is.

Inspired by the bible: Check out 1 Kings. The song is very well applied to many people, but is inspired by the story of Jezebel in the bible. A temptress that swayed her husband to no longer worship Yaweh, but encouraged him to worship Pagan gods such as Baal.
