30 min video and 3 mins of actually painting. I've heard painting is 90% preparation and 10% actual painting, so I guess this video confirms that.

I have spent months researching into spray painting and found a great resource at Magic Painter Method (check it out on google)

You are correct. You'll only be painting a few minutes, the rest is sanding, masking, cutting tape/stencils, priming and doing spray test.

Why bother with stickers anyway I just want to give my frame a new look to make it look like it was bought from a shop also plan to upgrade my grips and upgrade the chain ring to a oval ring

When I watch your videos, I always think you are an artist...I’ve painted my bike after watching your wonderful works: a matte blue color but I’ve used 4colors (white, black, light blue, dark blue) for the logos with a sticker as you do... so satisfied! Than I hydrodipped the stem, cranks and seatpost: every time I go around with my gravel I see many eyes watching my bike...and this only thanks to you!!!!you are a number one👍

In this one you've actually answered all my questions. Now I think I'm ready to give my old frame a second life. Thanks for the tip about painting rack. I'll definitely use it.
By the way, you've just killed me with the lightning and the energy drink can at the end :-) I can't wait to see your next videos.

I have to say that I'm really happy with the result. I never used a spray can before. I can't share a picture in the comments, but the result is really nice to me. So, once again, many thanks to share your skills with us.

Just made my boys watch this video as they're both wanting to strip and paint their own bikes. I did try to tell them the work involved in such undertaking, but were having none of it. They genuinely thought it would be a quick sand and spray, and hey presto awesome paint job... Thankfully your video has made them see sense. Now they're both convinced, that if a jobs worth doing, do it properly and don't cut corners. So thank you for a brilliant educational video, that has definitely inspired them. They would also like to know if you'd be interested in seeing their final results?
