- Let my friend whos only experience on motorcycles was a 250cc dirtbike and a 400cc beginner bike. What he has to say about liter bikes will probably shock you..

I’ve wanted a Kawasaki z400 as my first bike for a bit, but after sitting on it, I legit want to just go straight for the z900 instead. I love the looks more and I feel it more as a long term investment compared to the z400. I’m not an idiot and I’m confident that my fear of death would keep me from doing anything stupid. It’s just the stigma of starting on a 900cc seems scary, even if you have the discipline.
Also first
If you've never ridden a bike before I wouldnt get a z900 but if you think that a z400 isnt gonna be enough then I would bridge the gap and get something in the middle
I disagree my friend... A 250 is more forgiving than a liter bike... You have no idea what happened to me. I bought a 650 for my new and first bike I was reallllllllly cautious and tried to learn the basics from it and when I learned it I thought it was tamed however you know when they will kill you.? . When you are a newbie and when you are comfortable on the bike and thinks okay I will twist the throttle and have a bit of fun and explore more possibilities. Obviously you want to explore the possibilitis on your bike right? if it has more to give?
Same happened to me I learned the basics and started riding got comfortable decided that I would gun it on a streach of a road and suddenly I rode over an unmarked speed breaker... at 150 km/hr( well after braking that is the last thing I saw... Threw me off the bike and i dont remeber the rest..
When I woke up I was lucky to be alive fractured arms, legs, fractured ribs(man it's the most painful) as well as some road rash on my arms. My bike is totalled.
And it took me years to gather up the courage to get on a bike and you know what? I went for a 200 cc and never felt the need to upgrade it as I can be carless all I want as it will only go upto 120km/hr and even if I see something that I cannot avoid I can still brake on time. Less mistakes, more forgiving, more fun
With the liter class there will be a question in your mind like why should I ride like a 200cc? It can give more... I shouldnt hold back😢 that is when accidents happen.
I'm glad you made it out of there alive and you make some good points!
I believe you meant litre
What makes you think this guy is in the UK or that the whole world has to follow your spelling conventions? Absolute loser
