Sorry to be off topic but does anyone know of a tool to get back into an instagram account?? I was stupid forgot my password. I appreciate any tips you can give me!
@Adam Harlan i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Another great video, thank you! I'm a BJJ practitioner and I have difficulties with some takedowns due to my age and poor mobility. This breakdown is a most excellent tutorial and I can see how I could* apply it. Still, my greatest weakness is forcing certain techniques and the inability to recognize when a particular takedown is appropriate. I'm usually a push and when they push back a Tai Otoshi, but I'm thinking if I can get this grip and can time their momentum into me this is a good option. I have training tonight and usually spend a few minutes after drilling so I will work on this tonight. Thank you again!
@The 401K I should have specified techniques that do not require you to grab the opponent's leg. Basically one-handed takedowns that can be done from a caught kick or by tripping your opponent over your leg. Not sure what they are called. I do know that Machida uses a lot of them.
Shintaro I have been loving your videos recently, hope you are doing better with the finances right now! Great teachings hopefully one day I can train there with you! Oss!
I have one question: this move is illegal on a macht / fight or ? Becaus you clear the arm whit 2 hands (1vs2) 1 on the right sight rever and one on her "hand" or am i wrong? Pls tell me i love this move but i need it clear for judo match day. Ps sry for my bad englisch
I love the russian tie stuff. Is there a good set up for an ura nage kinda thing from there? I've tried some that feel ok, but I want to know what you think!
Loving these vids, he seems like a great guy I can’t lie. I’m from the striking arts side of things, I do kickboxing, karate and I’ve dabbled in boxing and taekeondo but this is great. All fights start on the feet but most fights finish on the ground. It’s helping me understand a lot. I’m 17 so I’ve still got a lot to learn but this helps a lot!.
Great video as always, but I think each of your video would be improved greatly if you demonstrated the technique in full at the very beginning, and *then* did the breakdown.
Thank you for this longer form video. I wouldn’t mind you making the videos 10 min long so you can get more money from RUclips for your views. You can always go on about whatever history you know about any move or even try and find clips of those moves being done in tournaments. To add more time to your videos. 2 min intro explanation 2 min outro explanation. 6 min of drill. Please try adding longer videos so you can get more videos.
Laundry in the Higashi household is complicated... "Honey, can you grab this shirt please?"
hahaha
I think it’s bad ass when a couple can train together and share a passion.
This is one of the best takedown combos for a Bjj practitioner in my opinion. Great video!
Much appreciated!
The full course he mentions at the end is "Low Risk Judo Throws For BJJ by Shintaro Higashi"

Osoto gari
Look into the "ashiwaza" group of techniques, like ouchi gari, kouchi gari, deashi harai, etc.
@The 401K thanks
@@Fabyfakid thanks I will look it up

Great video! Shintaro what is best for leg trips, sweeps and throws in no gi, judo or freestyle wrestling?
This is a combination that I both A) didn't know existed and B) didn't know I needed.
Hope you can make it your own and come up with new variations of it!

3:40 why don’t you do sumi from the other side in reverse? Just a preference? Only do it when it’s R vs L? I like the bait trick, just wondering why
sutemi waza means you never have to "pull guard" again! Finally a shame free way for BJJ people to enter ne waza😆👈💥

yes, you abandon the sleeve hand and under hook the far side.
@@Shigashi84 Thanks! That's exactly what I came up with too.
sensei, when you do sumi gaeshi uke's weight how is it divided?
molto bello
First! IPPON!

Glad you like them! Hope you keep training. Good luck on your journey!
Can you do sumi gaeshi against a single leg or when you have them in a headlock
Definitely can do it against a single leg. Can grab close wrist and far lat or Kimura grip far arm.
Do you have PayPal? Maybe you could set up a donation link in the description and thank top donors at the beginning or end of the video.
That is a great idea.
