The ‘ripple’ worked a treat Peter. Video, commentary and musical accompaniment integrates so well. Thanks for sharing Woody.

Thanks Dave 😊. I'm not sure how much I'll be using D-Log M and HLG in future but I'll certainly be making more use of RAW files.

Stunning! And some lovely adjustments to the photos. Egyptian geese certainly seem to be building up all over. Just a few years ago I would look out for the odd pair travelling to Norfolk, now here in Essex there's lots. I loved the footage of the deer too. I don't see roe deer near here so only see those on my travels. Thank you for sharing the beautiful wildlife and scenery out your way!

Thanks Tony. I'm hoping that I can actually capture a bit more actual bird footage over the winter. This summer was quite challenging.

@@honky014 So much foliage and the harsh light on the long hot days wouldn't have helped. I enjoyed watching your grebes, each with a fish. I recently watched a cormorant at Abberton reservoir. coming up with a fish each dive, while a little egret nearby, didn't even catch a tiny morsal. A birding day without a camera and all going on about 20 feet away. I saw my first two redwings of the winter yesterday November 1st.

@@tonycritcher3419 It was mostly the rain this summer which flooded the usual scrapes and kept the birds away. You've beaten me to it with the redwings though they must be around here as nearly 4k were recorded not far away by people who do bird counts.

@@honky014 Was an awful summer wet then almost drought conditions, not good for my garden customers either, but I retired this year so looking forward to more birding and some photography. Goodness, so many redwings already, I usually hear so many night time flyovers, but not this year.

Great photos, the adjustments really made them pop. you certainly seem to have a handle on that software, Darktable? Definitely going to check it out. Thanks for sharing, you never disappoint.

Thanks Richard. Darktable is free software with a reputation that it's a bit hard to get started with, but I found some excellent tutorials on RUclips. I still have quite a bit to learn about all the things it can do.

I have used a couple of raw noise software programs that seem to help quite a bit with pictures from the p950. The program removes some noise and creates a dng raw file that will open in darktable as a raw file.

I tried Nikon's NX Studio software to start with which is pretty good but then saw that Darktable was rated with the best for results, but was a bit trickier to learn. However I found enough RUclips tutorials to help me over the initial learning curve and now open the RAW (NRW) directly in Darktable. It hss 2 or 3 denoising modules that a few clips might have benefitted from.
